2019.3.17, the Reading Inn of CCNU, located in the east student community, officially opened. President of Student Affair Apartment Han Junhua, vice president Li Diao, Party Secretary of City and Environment School Liang Zhiqun, and Cao Huidong, Yang Lingzhen, Zhang Mengxian attended the opening ceremony which was hosted by the new communist Han Xu， the ‘waiter’.
Since the office began trail operations, regulation and system have been completed gradually, supporting facilities like Reading Passport and Thoughts Notebook have been prepared perfectly, moreover, plenty of praises have been received because of the convenient online platform and passionate staff. So, to provide our students and teachers with more high-quality service, and play its leading role on educating, the Reading Inn decided to open its business officially.
The ceremony started with a short video about the origin and development of Reading Inn. It showed that from 2009 to 2019, with the significant support of the ‘chairman’ and every single ‘waiter’, it developed from a tiny reading corner to today’s public platform facing the whole university.
Then, as one of the witnesses of the growth of Reading Inn, Vice President Li Diao made his speech to congratulate. President Li pointed out that, spreading Communism Religion, educating people, and sowing the seed of hope, the Reading Inn which was built not only for students and teachers on campus, but also the community, could be an eye-attracting business card of CCNU.
‘Chairman’ Yang Lingzhen also expressed her gratitude to all the superiors, teachers as well as 200 ‘waiters’ who supported the Reading Inn. She thought that this ceremony is a conclusion of the past, and hoped this Inn could continually develop, serve more students and teachers, and convince more to read.
Finally, with the ribbon-cutting part finished in the pleasing background music, the whole opening ceremony came to an end, and all the staff took a picture together to memorize it.
In the very afternoon, many students and teachers were attracted here and willingly took part in activities Reading Inn held. Many of them donated books, got reading passports and read in the Inn while expressing each other’ s opinion.
It is said that in 2009, the Reading Inn was built already. Aiming at educating and spreading Communism, it was the foundation of communism culture and education.
