It was host by the sports committee of the university, undertaken by the sports college and trade union committee, at the same time, co-organized by the computer college. President of CCNU Zhao Lingyun , director of financial management and audit center of General Administration of Sport of China, Yu Jianyong attended the opening. The member of the standing committee of the university party committee、the vice president Xia Lixin、former vice president Li Xiangnong、assistant principal Lin Gengmao and Ren Youzhou、the school board Zhou Jianming, as well as the alumni representatives： vice president of alumni association in Shen Zhen, Wang Hong、executive vice president of alumni association in Hai Nan，Tang Huiliang and so on were at present. Meanwhile, head of the various functional departments and colleges attended the activity.
华大桂声讯 11月7日上午，我校2019年运动会开幕式于佑铭操场正式举行。本次运动会由校体育运动委员会主办，体育学院、工会委员会承办，计算机学院协办。华中师范大学校长赵凌云，国家体育总局财务管理和审计中心主任于建勇，校党委常委、副校长夏立新，原副校长李向农，校长助理林更茂、任友洲，校董周建明，深圳校友会副会长王红、海南校友会常务副会长唐惠良等校友代表，学校各职能部门及各学院负责人出席本次开幕式。
Square displays were firstly showed by each college, multivariate and innovate. They used novel and unique ways to demonstrate the characteristics of each school. Beautiful ethnic costumes, lifelike specimens, musical instruments blending with dance as well as robots ‘humorous dialogue were wonderful and showed great vigor in the students of CCNU.

The national anthem was played after the end of the march-in ceremony. Everyone stood up looking at the five-star red flag which was in the east of the stadium fluttering in the wind. Vice President Xia Lixin made a speech, in which he mentioned that the school sports meeting is to carry forward the sports spirit of "faster, higher, stronger”, to carry out in-depth development of the national fitness campaign as well as to make efforts to strengthen the construction of our school sports work. Our school has insisted on the educational concept of "adhering to the path of socialist education with Chinese characteristics, cultivating comprehensive socialist builders and successors who are morally, intellectually, physically and aesthetically developed in an all-round way”. We are supposed to actively respond to the call of deepen reform and improve the system. Subsequently, the co-organizer Zhang Xiaoxin, secretary of the party committee of the computer college, delivered a speech and wished the sports meeting a complete success. After the athletes and referees made the solemn oath, Zhao Lingyun announced that "the sports meeting of CCNU in 2019 is officially opened."

Finally, the group gymnastics project came on stage. More than 500 teachers and staff in our school formed a tai chi fan performance team. The action was integrated with the music of "I love you China". Only with a month of rehearsals did the teachers finally have a wonderful presentation. Then, with their high spirit, 2,500 students came in waves and the collision of red and white on them made their movements more energetic. After that, students dressed in blue clothing brought martial arts exercises to the audience. They were aggressive, dazzling and powerful. Ren Junlong, the student of Physical Education College in level 17, mentioned that they had rehearsed for two months in total. The time was tight and the task was heavy. Therefore the success of the two projects could not be separated from the hard work and active cooperation of every student. 最后，团体操项目登场，我校500余名教职工组成太极扇表演方队，一停一顿都与音乐《我爱你中国》相融合，教工们历时一个月的排练才有了最终精彩的呈现。踏着斗志昂扬的步伐，2500名学子不遑多让，他们如浪潮般涌来，红色与白色的碰撞，使表演者的动作更富有活力。身穿蓝色武术服的学生们随后带来武术操表演，攻势凌厉，刀光耀眼，极具力量美的动作使全场沸腾。体育学院17级任俊龙提到，他们共排练了两个月，时间紧、任务重，两个项目的成功展示，离不开同学们的辛勤付出和积极配合。团体操最后，“小红人”用红色的布段拼成五星红旗，如波浪般起伏，给观众带来震撼的视觉体验。
