Nowadays, Cares for Next Generation Working Committee of the Ministry of Education has praised the activity of“Read and Understand China”in 2021, and five works of CCNU won the prizes. Among them, Holding to Originality, Sticking to Mission, Educateing for the Party, Cultivating Talents for Nation won the award of best essay;Rooted in China, Toiling in Field Policy, Being In Fearless of Refluence, Fighting Forever, Holding to Originality, Devoting to Folk Literature for Public won the award of excellent essay; Rooted in China, Toiling in Field Policy: Politicians Walking in Fields won the award of best micro-video, and was shown in CETV. CCNU ranked first among universities directly under the committee, and won the award of excellent organization.
At the beginning of 2021, Cares for Next Generation Working Committee of the Ministry of Education raised the theme concerning“Telling Party’s Stories Well, Succeeding Genes of Red”, and started the activity of “Read and Understand China”in 2021 which faced the national system of education. To respond to this call, Cares for Next Generation Working Committee of CCNU and Office of Retirement Affairs made full use of the advantages of people who experienced ,witnessed and practiced“Spirits of Five Old”, and carried out education of “four Histories”, as well as using some forms of words and videos to record stories of “Spirits of Five Old”on campus, educated and guided teenage students to love the party, nation, socialism. Many teenage students got to know a vivid description of education of “Four Histories”by listening to stories, conveying stories and writing stories, and strengthen the belief in following our party.
Since 2018, CCNU has taken an active part in a series of activities concerning the activity of“Read and Understand China”, and many works have been regarded as excellent works, shown in CETV. Ministers in CCUN Cares for Next Generation Working Committee said, in the future, our school will continue to convey “Spirits of Five Old”, accumulate the force of it, assist in fundamental task of fostering virtue and cultivating students, and inject new vigor in ideological and political work.
