The Voice of CCNU In order to prepare for the 11th Quality and Ability Competition of College Counselors of Hubei Province, the Academic Work Department of Ideological and Political Office of the Party Committee held a preparation exercise activity at 2:30 p.m. on March 5 in the New Student Activity Center Building B 201, to instruct the competitors mainly in two competition units including the case analysis and heart-to-heart talking. Li Diao, director of the Ideological and political Affairs Department of the Party Committee, and Li Xianling, deputy director of the ideological and political Affairs Department of the Party Committee, attended the preparation exercise activity. The activity invited three deputy secretaries of the Party committee, Shao Lili, Xiao Wei and Wang Li, as guidance guests. Wen Bixuan, Li Zheli and Zhao Wan, three provincial competitors participated in the drill.
In the section of the case analysis, the three competitors conducted in-depth analysis on the randomly selected cases in turn from four aspects, such as the essence of the problem, the idea of the solution, the method of the implementation, and the relevant inspiration from the case, which reflected the competitors' dialectical thinking ability and solid work ability. Three guiding guests commented on the performance of each competitor in the section of the case analysis, pointed out the shortcomings, and put forward valuable opinions and suggestions.
In the session of heart-to-heart talking, the three competitors matched each other and played the roles of talking counselors and students one another in terms of the selected heart-to-heart talk topic, which vividly displayed the real scenes and realistic cases of the counselors' heart-to-heart talking, as well as comprehensively inspected and practiced their technology and ability of heart-to-heart talking. Three guidance guests commented on the performance of each competitor in the session of heart-to-heart talking, and taught them the skills of heart-to-heart talking, the art of on-site controlling and the wisdom of taking the competition, which greatly enhanced the professional spirit and competitive ability of the participating counselors.
At the end of the preparation exercise activity, Li Diao, director of the ideological and political Affairs Department of the Party Committee, made a speech as a conclusion. He expressed his gratitude to the guests who participated in the preparation guidance, and mobilized and guided the three competitors for a further step.
