In order to further do a good job in the education with temperature, actively explore the psychological education form of "aesthetic education nourishing the heart" and, guide university students to improve their mental health literacy with the help of artistic healing techniques and feel the charm of traditional Chinese culture as well as the beauty of creation and shape the beauty of the soul, at 19 o 'clock in the evening of May 27, the activity of "happy hand making: bringing the cool with intangible cultural heritage lacquer fans" of the second "heart power · happy night school" of the one-stop community was successfully held at the flow space of the One-stop Student Community Service Centre (East 18). This activity was led by Zhang Wenshuo, the peer mentor of heart power and Yu Xuan, the Counselor of Grade 2022 of the School of Life Sciences, participated as a guest. A total of 16 undergraduates signed up to participate.
At the beginning of the activity, Zhang Wenshuo introduced the theme of this activity-the making of lacquer fans through the song program of this year's Spring Festival Gala, Shangchunshan, leading everyone to understand the lacquer fan as a derivative of China's intangible cultural heritage lacquer "bleaching paint" techniques. It takes natural lacquer as the main material, with unique artistic value and historical and cultural value. By means of videos and pictures to explain, the basic steps and precautions of making lacquer fans were introduced to the students, and everyone was encouraged to mobilize their imagination and creativity to make their own unique lacquer fan.
In the process of production, Zhang Wenshuo distributed the materials to the students in advance, and the students made the lacquer fans and bookmarks according to the basic lacquer fan production methods explained earlier, combined with their own understanding and imagination of color matching, and kept exploring and innovating. Students were creating quietly on their own, in small groups, or in enthusiastic discussion and exchange. The scene was full of laughter. Finally, everyone hand-inscribed, stamped and tasseled their lacquer fans and bookmarks, and pieces of exquisite work is completed!
Each lacquer fan is unique and cannot be reproduced. Half of natural, half of man-made, it is also like our life. Every choice we make at every crossroads is our unique interpretation and solution, which will eventually constitute our picture of life together! It’s hoped that these lacquer fans can accompany our students to spend the cool summer one by one!
