In order to get closer to the students and enter their world, to gather educational forces and implement the concept of "education with warmth,“Hui Sheng Hui She”Studio of the School of Sociology held the "She" Hui Voice Lecture at the One-Stop Student Community in Building 4 of Guojiao on October 30. This event invited Jia Chengqi, a national scholarship winner of the School of Sociology for the year 2024 and a master's student from the class of 2022, and Li Jiayin, the current director of the School of Sociology's Integrated Media Center and a master's student from the class of 2023. They shared their personal study experiences and work experience as students. Teacher Zhai Juan, the graduate counselor of the School of Sociology, and some graduate students participated in this activity together.
Before the sharing session began, Teacher Zhai Juan said, "With role models around us, we have the strength to act." She encouraged every student present to be brave in learning from the outstanding role models around them, to draw experience from their successes, and to build their own path of growth.
Subsequently, Jia Chengqi shared her study experience, "We should learn to seek results in the process of exploration, be brave in continuous experimentation, and avoid letting external standards of judgment diminish or negate the efforts we have made in the past." She concluded with "Correct direction + extensive practice + focus on the process + review and iteration" to help everyone achieve good results in the direction they love.
Next, Li Jiayin elaborated on the theme of "Enjoy the process, be fearless of the outcome," detailing her gradual growth during her graduate studies. She advocated that one should focus their core goals on self-improvement and growth, for which it is essential to actively create an environment conducive to professional development. At the same time, she emphasized the importance of maintaining a confident mindset, suggesting that when faced with confusion, one should delve into exploration, be brave in trying and making mistakes, and take practical actions with down-to-earth efforts. She believes that it is crucial to find the right balance between emotional passion and rational survival, to discover true passion through practice, to focus on the process itself, and not to fear the outcome.
Finally, Jia Chengqi and Li Jiayin addressed the students' confusions regarding study methods, job-seeking strategies, and time management, providing answers to each one. The students present unanimously expressed that today's sharing session helped them resolve their current doubts and they greatly benefited from it.
The Hui Sheng Hui Education Studio will continue to practice the concept of "education with warmth," gathering educational forces to carry out activities that contribute to the growth and development of students, and implementing the fundamental task of moral education and talent cultivation.
