（The Vioce of CCNU）On the afternoon of November 21st, the third session of the "Research Study Gathering" for the fall semester of 2024, hosted by the Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee and undertaken by the School of Politics and International Relations, was held in Conference Room 1005, South Building of the Humanities Research Building. The theme of this session was the sharing of experiences in innovation and entrepreneurship in graduate student party building. Li Xinlong, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Hubei Party Members' Life Magazine, gave a special presentation, and Li Xianling, Deputy Director of the Ideological and Political Work Office of the Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee, presided over the event.
At the beginning of the event, Li Xianling, Deputy Director of the Ideological and Political Work Office of the Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee, welcomed all the participants. She emphasized the importance of carrying out exemplary party building and quality improvement work in colleges and universities in the new era. She expressed her hope that through the "Research Study Gathering" platform, exchanges and mutual learning could be strengthened to effectively enhance the ability of graduate student counselor teams to fulfill their duties and actively play the role of the graduate student party branch as a strong fortress.
During the special presentation, Li Xinlong, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Hubei Party Members' Life Magazine, pointed out the need to integrate party building with academic development and to embed branch construction within the progress of the nation and the era. He emphasized that in the cultivation work of party building "dual innovation," it is important to focus on "five key points": focusing on ideological guidance, focusing on problem orientation, focusing on innovation while preserving the essence, focusing on pragmatism, and focusing on collaborative coordination. In the construction and cultivation of graduate student party branch models, it is necessary to align with the "seven strengths" for standardized construction, as well as to seize the right opportunities, solidify the foundation of work, utilize academic advantages, and refine distinctive brand features.
At the end of the discussion session, Pan Guangwei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Politics and International Relations, expressed his gratitude to Deputy Editor-in-Chief Li for his sharing. He mentioned that graduate student counselors should deeply understand the basic connotations of the Party's political construction and explore new models for graduate student party building and ideological and political education work, practicing the work philosophy of "education with warmth."
