The Voice of CCNU To enhance the employment competitiveness of the 2025 undergraduate cohort at the School of Mathematics and Statistics and seize the critical period for job hunting, the School successfully held the 2025 Wuhan Education System Special Teacher Recruitment Job Exchange Conference on January 5th in Room 315, Building 2, International Cultural Exchange Park. This event invited Zhan Zherui, a mathematics teacher at Wuhan Middle School and a 2024 graduate of the School of Mathematics and Statistics, and Song Yitian, a mathematics teacher at Wuhan No.1 Junior High School, to share their experiences. Attendees included Wu Jing, the 2021 undergraduate counselor, and undergraduates intending to apply for teaching positions at Wuhan’s model schools in 2025. The conference was hosted by Wu Jing.

During the conference, Zhan Zherui shared his insights into the application process and key preparation strategies for model school recruitment exams, based on his own exam preparation experience. He also analyzed and recommended the precautions and pre-examination preparations for structured interviews and non-living trial lectures in the examination . Song Yitian provided a comparative analysis of model school recruitment and public institution recruitment in Wuhan, detailing the assessment procedures, content, and interview techniques. She highlighted the similarities and differences between the two recruitment approaches and gave tailored application recommendations to the attending students.

In the communication and discussion part, attending students discussed issues such as registration policies, application intentions, and exam preparation and the like. Wu Jing reminded the students to align their choices with personal strengths and actual situations, consider their career development goals and aspirations, and prepare in advance. It’s crucial to face the recruitment process with a positive mindset, full confidence, and seize every opportunity.

This sharing session provided students with comprehensive guidance on recruitment skills and career planning advice. Moving forward, the School will continue to advance initiatives for graduate employment, refine its employment service system, and safeguard high-quality and full employment opportunities for graduates.
