It’s globally known that we are under serious circumstances, fighting against the novel coronavirus and we are altogether standing shoulder to shoulder. As to the economy, how is it influenced by the epidemic situation and what’s the current economic behavior like? I’m right now going to show you something.
此刻我们仍面对着严峻的形势，我们肩并肩一起防控新型冠状病毒。那么在经济方面，此次疫情是如何造成影响的？现时的经济行为又是怎样的呢？我将带来一些分享。

After Wuhan went on lock down on January 23, other cities in Hubei province carried out the same action in succession. Actually, before the locking date, people began to crowd in supermarkets and drugstores for masks and some necessities and medicine.
自武汉在1月23号开始封城以后，湖北的其他城市也接连封城。事实上在封城之前，人们就已经开始涌向超市、药店来抢购口罩、药品和其他必需品了。
In supermarkets, we could see people shopping actively during the period just before Chinese New Year. However, people deduced their outings and travels as soon as the news that the novel coronavirus could bring about person-to-person transmission More often in the common days, people rush to purchase those promoted goods. Housewives have their own plans for managing their expenses in daily life. But in the special time, people are required to stay at home and volunteers in each community and village help to purchase materials. From the list of purchased goods, we could get some findings. Residents need the basic food most, including rice, flour and oil, etc. Besides, instant noodles and other convenient food are also in large-amount needs. Vegetables and meat can be provided in only several kinds.
超市里面，我们可以看到人们在年前购物得还是很活跃的。然而，当新型冠状病毒可以人传人的消息一出来，人们就立刻减少了外出。平常的时候，人们只会在商品促销时去超市抢购。家庭主妇对各自家庭日常生活的花费都有着自己的计划。但是在必须待在家的特殊时期，人们只能通过小区或者村里的志愿者代购来购买物资。从购买的清单来看，我们可以发现：居民需要基本的食物最多，包括米面油等；此外，方便面和其他方便食品同样有很大需求；蔬菜和肉类只能够供应几种。
On the whole, the consumption of necessities like food increases greatly. Supermarkets made efforts to avoid goods’ shortage. Due to temporary impossibility of going back to permanent residence, most people are gradually facing the problem of changing appropriate clothes in temperature-rising weather. That also leads to the increasing consumption in clothes.
总的来看，像食物等必需品的消费增加了不少。超市也在努力不让这些商品出现短缺。由于暂时不能回到常住地，大部分人逐渐发现温度升高而缺少合适的衣物。这也带来了衣物消费量的增加。
In drugstores otherwise, consumers rush for masks of course. What’s more, they tend to pick up things like flu medicine and thermometers, which reflects peoples’ increasing awareness in monitoring personal condition.
而在药店，消费者肯定会抢购口罩。但此外，他们还会买一些诸如流感药品和体温计之类的东西，这也反映出了人们提高了做好自身防控的意识。

For now towards almost globally spread coronavirus, the world’s economy is sure to have been influenced in different aspects. In fact, the factories of foreign companies had to postponed the date of restarting work, which caused loss in finance and human resource. Whereas, according to the Ministry of Commerce of PRC, China may be the best hedge area for global investment. With Consideration about the influences led by the epidemic taken into, China still has the confidence and strategies of most companies investing in China. Also, China remains its overall advantages in attracting all kinds of investment. The changeable international market made China the best hedge area for global investment probably, too.
目前来看全球范围内开始传播的冠状病毒，在不同方面已经对全球的经济造成了影响。事实上，外企在华的工厂不得不推迟开工，这在资金和人力上会带来一定的损失。然而，从中华人民共和国商务部了解到，中国可能是全球投资避险的最佳区域。将此次疫情带来的影响考虑进去以后发现，大多数公司投资中国的信心和战略没有改变。同样中国吸引各种投资的综合优势也没有改变。当前的国际市场风云变幻，也表明中国可能时世界上投资避险的最佳区域。
