On the afternoon of Nov.16th, Workshop for Project named "Mathematical and Creative Cup" was held in the lecture hall of the No.10 Building by the School of Mathematics and Statistics. It was porposed by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department in the Youth League and Students Union of the School of Mathematics and Statistics, in which Ren Jiahuan, Huang Jingjing, the under secretary of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department, and Guo Yujie held the post of instructors.
The activity was aimed at facilitating the mutual study between teams and guiding the teams to improve the project planning further. Under the leadership of Chengxin, the host and the manager, directors of each project gave a feedback according to the proposal brought up by judges in the early round and showed their new progress in front of audience. The instructors also made a comment and asked related questions about it.
The project I don't want to wait in line was the first to be displayed. Huang Bingjie, director of the project started with the common problem that always waiting for too long to take a shower in our daily life, and figured out the whole project. During the display, she made an imporved interpretation for the question of unitary profit pattern propounded by judges in the last reply. She stated that they decided to add the charge mode from one to five, ensuring all the students to gain convenience through different charging ways.
During the question-and-answer portion, Guo Yujie experessed her concern about whether the project I don't want to wait in line can be promoted. Then Huang Bingjie speaked that the Logistics Department of CCNU always devoted to impoving the living qualities of students, which was pushed by this project. Therefore, basing on the surpport of university, publicity can be easily carried out in campus and problem can be solved.
Then several teams showed their own projects to the audience. Except for sharing views about their own projects, they also focused on other themes such as answering questions in class, mobile game trading platform, and the current situation and meaning of undergraduates' short-term support education to show their planning ideas.
In the part of question-and-answer, Huang Jingjing asked different teams the question "in what form does this project register users" several times, the options and reasons varied from team to team. Huang Bingjie, director of the project I don't want to wait in line, suggested to use the serial number of water card for it is easy to accord when renew a card. While Wu Shugui, director of the project swiping it, thought that account linked with WeChat ID was safer for payment. After hearing those innovative ideas, the thunderous applause burst from the audience.
At the end of the workshop, Ren Jiahuan made a summary. She appreciated students' strong support, and praised the full preparation and excellent performance of the teams at the same time.Then the Workshop "Mathematical and Creative Cup" held by the School of Mathematics and Statistics came to a successful end.
the Workshop for Project named "Mathematical and Creative Cup" means a lot. On the one hand, the improved situation of all the teams were checked. On the other hand, the teams also made a better preparation for the final compitition through the activity.
