The Voice of CCNU News There is no word “easiness” on the way to the art exam. On the road of art students struggling for their dreams, far more than themselves are countless hands bearing the weight of their dreams.
During the several days of the exam, related staff always arrived at the exam hall early and then started a day’s work. Before 7 in the morning outside the music building, they could be seen very busy everywhere. They used interphones to confirm repeatedly if the docking of the inside and outside of the exam room was normal, assisted in moving the instruments for exam, and guided parents to have a rest in the College Students’ Activity Center, besides, the security personnel also kept order on the scene…
Volunteers: Hardworking and Enjoyable
Several volunteers at the inquiry desk said they had volunteered during the art exam for a few years. “Being a volunteer is my own choice, I always have enthusiasm for this job.” A girl said. It seemed that the workload of about 10 hours from morning to night didn’t obliterate her passion.
Although the art exam just lasted 4 days, their work time was more than that. According to another volunteer, they had prepared since the school started, and they were terribly busy a couple of days before the exam. “We were so nervous that we had insomnia the night before last due to the huge new changes this year.”
Arranging the exam room, having ”site walks” in advance, answering questions for parents…They never left the music building, in which they spread their sweat and footprints. Finally, they also conveyed their wishes to the art examinees:“Hope fellow underclassmen can let nature take its course, take it easy and believe that everything is the best choice.”

Enrollment Office: Fine-tuning and Disabuse with patience
With the beating of gongs and drums, the schedule of the art exam had been in the middle. There are staff in charge of live broadcast, who cope with the workers in the music building. As “viewers”, they were nervous with quiet hope in the studio, which on the 5th floor of the college Students’ Activity Center.
According to the staff of the enrollment office, they provided live broadcast for parents’ convenience so that they could watch out their kids’ situations at the exam hall at anytime, thus reliving each anxious heart and supplying them a place to rest. “Live broadcast”, a new method in the art exam, is an “old friend” in the big events of CCNU, whose device is sponsored by the school. Professional technicians shoot on the scene, at the same time, the student assistants of the Student Center will rebroadcast, all of which consist of a series of procedures in perfect order.
The staff of the enrollment office couldn’t spare a moment to rest, for they helped the candidate’s parents solve various problems: how to scan a QR code, how to log in, live images unclear, something wrong with the screen…such troubles emerged in endlessly, making these staff overwhelmed, that is to say, they had to stand up to handle the next problem after they had just dealt with one before “Am I toilsome? No! It’s all my duty. And I’ll come to do a favor as long as I have no classes. ””The art exam is important for both students and parents, so we’ll spare no effort to help.”

Security Personnel: Maintain order and Escort
The security personnel outside the exam center maintained the order from 6:40 a.m. to past 5:00 p.m. all the time. When it came to workload, they all said that it was their duty to do their own work well, and hardship was reasonable.
They need to take some safety measures ahead of time according to the notice before the art exam. Their work went fairly smoothly due to the suitable arrangements for the exam and uniform distribution of candidates, as a consequence, there was almost no busy time because of too many people. Their responsibilities are to prevent some parents entering the exam room accidentally and influencing students normal performances. Keep order and provide protection for students, they are always on the way.

The art students sweat on the way to chase their future, behind whom are countless hands lifting their dreams together. Moreover, there are all kinds of staff who toil for them with their heart and soul. Perhaps their hands don’ t leave a red letter in those students’ lifelong road, however, they bring light to the young dreamers, which illuminates their incoming roads.
