THE VOICE OF CCNU- On the morning of August 29, the training of head teachers and counselors of grade 2019 was held in the conference room on the first floor of Science Hall. Vice-President Cai Hongsheng, Director of the Student Work Department of the Party Committee Han Junhua attended meeting. Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committee from different colleges and head teachers and counselors of grade 2019 participated in the training. The meeting was presided over byVice-President of undergraduate school Li Diao.
At the beginning of the training, Vice-President Cai Hongsheng gave a speech. He began with his own experiences, pointing out that “head teachers and counselors are freshmen’s first teachers”, which fully explained the importance of them. After that, Cai Hongsheng expressed his expectations for them: first, strengthen their own political cultivation; second, pay more attention to their own morality; third, improve their quality of civilization.
Subsequently, Deputy Director of the Admissions and Employment Office Zeng Yanmei introduced the enrollment situation this year. Minister of Security Office Wang Dongshuang conducted campus safety training by combining examples in recent years, and put forward that safety education should be taken seriously. Teacher from Centre for Mental Health Education Duan Wenting indicated that the psychological crisis of students should be prevented and solved with joint efforts.
Deputy Director of the Student Work Department Wu Jiancheng separately introduced the funding systems of our country and school; Liu Feng, a teacher from Centre for Learning and Development of College Student introduced the situation of center from work, future, activities and development confusions.
In the end, Han Junhua, Director of the Student Work Department of the Party Committee made a speech. He explained some policies for the work of head teachers and counselors, hoping teachers can put what they learned into use and give full play to their role in teaching and education students.
