On September 29, the student party branch of Yun Daiying class held the September party day activity and party organization meeting in Room 217 of Building 1, combining online and offline ways. The main content of this activity is to study and carry out the spirit of the 27th National Conference on Party Building in Universities and Colleges and general secretary Xi Jinping's important reply to representatives of teachers' teams of Huang Danian style in national universities. This meeting took the methods of leading learning and exchanging feelings to guide the branch members to learn the theories. Wang Hailong, secretary of the student party branch of Yun Daiying class, and all members of the branch attended the event.
In the first item of the meeting, Li Zhongwen, a member of the party branch, led the members to learn the spirit of the 27th National Conference on Party Building in Colleges and Universities. He played a video on unforgettable moments of the centennial celebrations of the founding of the CPC as an introduction, in order to lead party members to learn general secretary Xi Jinping's important discussion on party building in colleges and universities. By explaining some content of the regulations of the Communist Party of China on the work of primary level organizations in colleges and universities, he pointed out that we should comprehensively and accurately grasp the new situation, new tasks and new requirements, solidly promoting the party building, ideological and political work in colleges and universities, and striving to cultivate socialist builders and successors with all around development of virtue, intelligence, physical conditions, mind status and community service.
In the second item of the meeting, Li Zhongwen guided all branch members to study the spirit of the general secretary Xi Jingping's significant reply to teachers' teams of Huang Danian style in national universities. It focused on three aspects: learn to be a model of the world as a good teacher; keep “state affairs” in mind and continue to climb the peak in scientific research and innovation; integrate learning, working and being a person truly, and be a good guide through the growth of students.
In the third item of the meeting, party members of the branch shared their experience combining with practice. Yang Ruihua said, “Under the leadership of the party and with efforts of more than 70 years, we have entered the stage of mass-oriented higher education, national cultural quality has also improved comprehensively. As beneficiaries of higher education, we have also proved through practice that in our country, if we receive education and study hard, we may rewrite our destiny. Therefore, we should strive to learn the knowledge, win honor for the party and build our motherland.” Wu Maojia thought that the content of this party day activity was extremely substantial. Branch members shared their unique, deep and comprehensive views of the spirit of the speech, thus helping me have a deeper understanding of the spirit of the speech.
At the end of the meeting, branch secretary Wang Hailong made a concluding speech. He pointed out that members of the student party branch of Yun Daiying class should link the major of ideological and political education, learn from an academic point of view, and insist to cultivate the problem consciousness, spare no efforts to be a person with ideological and political capability through connecting practice and theory and studying by tracing to the source and comparative learning methods.
