At 9:00 a.m. on December 11th, 2021, hosted by the Graduate Union of Central China Normal University and undertaken by the Graduate Union of The School of Education and the Graduate Union of the School of Marxism, the final of the mock Teacher Recruitment interview contest of 2021-2022 "Spreading wings and Going Forward" mock practice series was held in Room H201, Yifu Building, School of Chemistry. The judges of this competition are Xia Jiafa and Yao Linqun from school of Education and Wang Shicun from School of Chemistry. In addition, graduate students from the School of Education, the School of Marxism, the School of Chemistry and other schools were also enthusiastically involved.

As one of the only six normal universities directly under the Administration of Chinese Ministry of Education, our school shoulders the great mission of cultivating educational talents for the motherland. The majority of students in our school always have the dream of inheriting the spirit of our school by standing on the "three feet of podium". The theme of this competition is "Showing Youth Style, Realizing Teacher's Dream". After fierce competition in the preliminary round, a total of 8 contestants entered the final, they demonstrated solid basic teaching skills and full of enthusiasm as a teacher through their unique teaching methods and free manners.

The competition is divided into four parts: self-introduction for two minutes, structured questions for three minutes, simulated teaching for ten minutes and defense for three minutes. After the defense, the judges made detailed comments on the advantages and disadvantages of the contestants in the teaching process. Mr. Xia emphasized the importance of teaching objectives, body language and teaching links in the teaching process. He pointed out: "In the real teaching process, teaching objectives should be clear, and while teachers are teaching, they ought to combine with the teaching gestures. Besides, posture should be in place. Instead of being so serious when teaching, teachers need to open themselves." In addition, Yao stressed: "As a future teacher, our basic skills should be fully prepared, which is also a foundation for us to find jobs in the future. At the same time, we need to have a 'conscience' and shoulder our responsibility to treat students from different backgrounds equally.”

After scoring by the judges, Liu Ying from the School of Chemistry won the first prize. Yang Qian from school of Marxism and Zhang Yuanyuan from School of Education won the second prize; Zeng Qinghong and Liu Fengxia from the School of Marxism won the third prize; He Wenting from the School of Chemistry and Wang Fengyun and Dong Guili from the School of Education won the award of Excellence.

The holding of this activity provides a practical platform for the graduate students of our school to practice by what they learned and to learn from teaching. Also, it provides a precious opportunity to show and improve themselves, and also enables the participants to show their level and style through this competition. "There will be times when the wind blows and waves break, and the sails will sail through the sea." I believe that they will set sail on the road of teachers and become one of the outstanding teachers in the future! So far, the final of the mock Teacher Recruitment interview contest of 2021-2022 "Spreading wings and Going Forward" mock practice series of CCNU has achieved a complete success.
