Speaking of winter vacation, this year's vacation was unexpectedly long and interesting. Not only because it was the first long vacation I've felt since entering university, but it was also an opportunity in which I felt the beauty of labor and sport.
说起寒假，今年的假期意外的漫长有趣。不仅是因为这是我进入大学后感受到的第一个长假，而且在这个假期，我真正感受到了劳动之美与运动之美。
Staying at home with nothing else to do, the landscape outside my window became my daily observation. This year, winter seems to have entered very slowly, not as steeply as before and has blended with autumn without a sound. The leaves on the trees in front of the house still look green and lush, and the plum blossoms are only a few in bloom. A sharp winter rain tapped on my window, falling in wisps. I was expecting to feel the winter sunshine on New Year's Day, but several days of rain and gloom cast a thin pall over the fields. However, it allowed me to clear the clutter from my home and to understand the significance of the practical work activities at school. Digging wild vegetables, making dumplings, and putting up spring scrolls ...... In these daily labors, not only did I experience the hardships involved but also felt the joy of labor from it.
呆在家中闲来无事，窗外的风景便成为了我的日常观测对象。今年的冬季仿佛进入的极慢，不像从前那么陡然，和秋天交融的无声无息。家门口的树叶仍保留着青青翠翠的模样，梅花也只开了零星几朵。急促的冬雨拍打着我的窗子，丝丝缕缕倏地坠下。本以为能在新年之际感受冬日阳光，但连绵几日的阴雨为整个田野笼罩上一层薄翳。不过，这让我有了机会清理家中的杂物，让我明白了学校开展劳动实践活动的意义。挖野菜，包饺子，贴春联……在这些日常的劳动中，我不仅体会到了其中的艰辛，而且还从这里面感受到了劳动的乐趣。
Apart from the labor at home, what was even more impressive was this 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, I think. And the one I admire the most was our athlete, Eileen Gu, who had managed to make a breakthrough in the field she is least good at. And she said she did it because she wanted to show the world that she was not afraid or intimidated and kept challenging herself to push her limits. 除却家中的劳动，更令人印象深刻的就是这场2022年的北京冬奥会了吧。而最令我敬佩的就是我国运动员谷爱凌，她在自己最不擅长的领域成功做到了自我的突破。她说自己之所以这么做，是希望让世界看到她不害怕不畏惧，一直挑战自己，突破极限。因此她在前两轮都落后于法国选手勒德的情况下，选择了挑战1620，最终反超第一。她所传递的信念直抵人心，让自己的才华与光芒尽情绽放在我们眼中。
This year's winter vacation was exceptionally exciting. Although not too many interesting things happened in my daily life, whether it was the heartwarming shared labor in the New Year or the intense competitive sports I saw on TV, they added a unique memory to my winter vacation.
今年的寒假分外精彩。虽然在日常的生活中，并未发生太多有趣的事情，但不论是新年温馨的共同劳动，还是在电视机中所看到的激烈竞技运动，都为我的寒假增添了一份独特的记忆。
