(Correspondent: Wang Di) On the afternoon of September 6, Vice President Ren Youzhou and his party went to our college to do the research and guide the beginning work of the school year. The heads of relevant functional departments such as Infrastructure Division, Publicity Department, Graduate School, Alumni Office and School Office accompanied them to do the research, and members of the party and government leadership team of our college attended the colloquium.
Zhang Mingsheng, secretary of the party committee of the college, reported the current situation of the new term and the work plans of the school in this semester. He said that the work in the summer vacation and the start work of the school was carried out smoothly and orderly under the situation of epidemic prevention and control. At the same time, the school had made certain achievements in the construction of the qualified faculty team and the output of scientific researches. At the beginning of the school year, the college launched a faculty meeting to comprehensively deploy the key work of the new semester. Meanwhile, all the teachers and students are ready for welcoming the 20th Party Congress with a more vigorous spirit. Zhang Mingsheng also reported the main difficulties of the school in some aspects such as scientific research and infrastructure construction.
Vice Presidents Yu Yunwei, Wu Shaoping, Huang Guangming and Deputy Party Secretaries Cao Yang and Ma Ying reported on their respective work.
The heads of functional departments responded to the relevant issues, and Vice President Ren Youzhou made a concluding statement. He fully affirmed that the summer vacation work of the school was solid and effective, and the beginning school work was steady and in order. He also put forward ardent hope for the work of the college: First, further improve the quality of talent training. Establish the base of the top students training program 2.0, integrate teaching resources, move forward to promote and upgrade the quality of teaching, and further improve the employment quality of non-teacher training students. Secondly, enhance the construction of teacher team and broaden the channels of introducing high-level talents. Thirdly, accelerate the work of alumni and build up the alumni association of the college as soon as possible. Fourthly, strengthen exchanges and cooperations to improve internationalization level. What’s more, President Ren put forward instructive opinions on the difficulties and problems raised by the college team members.
