The college of physical science and technology held conversazione for grade 2022 undergraduate students and teachers on November 23rd . Members of college leadership, counselors who are in charge of freshmen, freshman representatives of all majors attended this activity. The conversazione was presided over by Ma Ying, deputy secretary of university Party committee.
The student representatives took turns to make a statement on three aspects. The first one was the feeling of entering school, then put forward main problems and difficulties that exist in study and life, finally gave own suggestions on the college talent cultivation and school work. The teachers at the meeting listened attentively to the students' confusion and problems in professional study, time management, interpersonal communication, life security and other aspects, and gave patient and meticulous responses.
At the meeting, Zhang Benwei, the dean of the college of physical science and technology, said that students should adapt to the differences between college and high school as soon as possible, learn self-discipline and have their own plans. Vice president Huang Guangming talked about the class backbone need to play a good role of leading geese. Wu Shaoping, vice president of the college of physical science and technology, said that the students' problems in professional learning will be further discussed through the teaching staff.
Zhang Mingsheng, secretary of the Party committee, expressed his gratitude to the students for their previous research in the major. He hoped that the faculty of the college of physical science and technology will further strengthen and improve the adaptability education of freshmen, further provide planning and guidance for the growth of students according to the characteristics of their major. Meanwhile, he also hoped that they will cultivate capable student backbone in grades and classes to improve students' ability of self-education, self-management and self-service.
