The Voice of CCNU In order to raise students' awareness of academic career planning, enhance their understanding of themselves and stimulate their enthusiasm for hard work, on the evening of February 19, 2023, Cui Hongbo and Jiang Jinyu, counselors of the School of Arts, organized the‘Letter Sending, Dream Pursuing’ mailing ceremony as well as an education activity themed on the growth of university students for undergraduates of Grade 2022 in Room 2201.

The planning of this activity began before the winter vacation. During the winter vacation, students planed their academic career in college based on their learning and living conditions in the first semester of freshman year, and write letters to themselves in the graduation season. At the beginning of the activity, Cui Hongbo, the instructor, led the students to review the experience of the last semester and make prospects for the next semester. He said, the theme of the first semester was ‘adapt’, now is ‘choose’. After adapting to the university life, in order to better development, every student should be in the continuous attempt to get the choice. Cui Hongbo, the counselor, encouraged everyone to study hard and exercise their ability to lay a solid foundation for their future work and study. They should not be aimless, but should take the opportunity to write letters and plan their college time carefully.

Counselor Jiang Jinyu, based on her own experience, shared what she gained after leaving the campus during the summer vacation. She told everyone that they should not close themselves off in college. They should break the shackles, broaden their horizons, and let the wider world connect with them. Universities have a lot of time to arrange independently. Instead of being confined to a corner, it is better to go out and walk out of the campus. After experiencing more, we will be more confident and stronger to face the challenges in the future.
Then, the students put the paper into the exquisite envelope designed by the grade and solemnly put their own letters into the time mailbox.
