The Voice of CCNU On the afternoon of March 5, the Spring Normal Student Culture Salon and the Job Search Sharing Session of "Senior Students Speaks" for Teacher Trainees of School of Marxism was held in Room 1101 of Building 1, which was organized by the Training and Testing Department of Normal Students of School of Marxism and the Truth Seeking Developmental Studies Center. Fang Sijia and Bai Chenxi, undergraduate students of grade 2019 of School of Marxism, served as the keynote speakers and shared their job hunting experience with teacher trainees.

After tireless job hunting, Bai Chenxi finally signed a contract with Taiyuan Foreign Language School. Combining her own and peer experiences, she started sharing from necessary preparations before the interview and recommended that students take advantage of their school time to create personal resumes and practice self-introduction to enhance self-confidence and ensure proper performance in the interview. When it came to the interview clothing, Bai Chenxi recommended formal clothing when applying for a job considering casual wear can easily leave a casual impression. With regard to how to face many setbacks encountered during the interview, she encouraged students to maintain a good attitude, seize opportunities, and wait for bloom. Bai Chenxi also gave corresponding suggestions on internship methods that it is necessary to listen to more classes, learn more, and become familiar with and master the teaching priorities and favorite teaching methods of the target school, because she believed that the internship period was a golden stage to hone teaching skills.

Fang Sijia successfully signed a contract with Jinjiang No. 1 Middle School in the Autumn Campus Recruitment, who described job hunting experience from different stages. She thought that her job-hunting process seemed to have been smooth sailing, but in fact there were many setbacks. Fang Sijia emphasized that before applying for a job, it was necessary to clarify their own needs, screen out target schools according to relevant standards, refuse to cast a wide net, and take action accurately to improve the efficiency of applying for a job. She shared ways for obtaining recruitment information and encouraged students to exchange information with other job seekers to broaden their sources of information. At the end of the sharing session, she stressed comprehensively considering various factors such as salary, accommodation, diet and etc. in the process of job hunting, and boldly putting forward reasonable demands to the school was also important.

After the sharing session, students said that they had learned a lot. Du Sijia, an undergraduate student in the class of 2022, shared her feelings. "The job-hunting experiences of the two senior students make me know that I should seize the opportunity to study in school, improve my theoretical attainment and cultivate my skills as a normal university student. At the same time, we should think ahead to our future and plan our career so that we can be more successful in the job-hunting process."

Lift the navigating light on the path of talent. The employment and job-hunting sharing meeting for teacher trainees has built a platform for communication between seniors and juniors, which not only satisfied the needs of teacher trainees to improve job-hunting skills, but also guided teacher trainees to clarify their goals and improve their comprehensive quality in the later learning process.
