At the beginning of the meeting, all the participants stood up and sang the national anthem. After the ceremony, the opening ceremony of Class 2023 freshmen officially began.
In the first item of the conference, the participants jointly watched the video of 2023 undergraduate freshmen enrollment and military training of the School of Foreign Languages. The short film reviews the campus life of the freshmen since they entered the school, from the ignorance of the first campus to the increasingly stable after military training, the students have honed all the way and grown all the way. The video shows the pictures of the students from enrollment, parents' meeting to participating in military training, and the freshmen representatives also summarize the harvest of military training and their expectations for the future in the video.
Conference second, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Foreign Languages Ma Ni speech. Ms. Yi expressed her sincere congratulations and a warm welcome to the freshmen of Class 2023, and introduced the general situation of the school from the aspects of its history, professional Settings, and faculty. Then, student Pei Yijun of Grade 2023 made a speech on behalf of the freshmen. In the sixth item of the conference, the faculty representatives presented the college emblem to the freshmen representatives and took a group photo.

In the eighth session of the conference, President Luo Lianggong gave a lecture on "The first lesson of the semester". Dean Luo has taught the first class for new students for five consecutive years. He mentioned that foreign language learning is not just about learning the language but also understanding what lies behind the language.
