The Voice of CCNU On October 13th, the 10th ”Field Ideology and Politics” Counselor Workshop of Institute of China Rural Studies and the 2023 Exchange Meeting for Part-time Class Teachers and Full-time and Part-time Counselors successfully conducted. The newly hired part-time class teachers and full-time and part-time counselors attended the meeting. Participants also included Xu Gang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Institute. The meeting was chaired by Ma Jun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute.
Ma Jun gave a special report on the basic situation of the work of students of Institute of China Rural Studies. He then informed the latest arrangements of ideological and political work division in party building of Institute of China Rural Studies. He provided a detailed introduction to the specific work and target tasks of 2023 part-time class teachers and full-time and part-time counselors. The newly hired part-time class teachers and full-time and part-time counselors respectively signed the 2023 student work objectives assignment. All the teachers firmly expressed that they would provide good services in student safety, mental health, academic research and other aspects in combination with the needs of students, and they would conscientiously complete the target tasks. Subsequently, Xu Gang and Ma Jun presented letters of appointment to the part-time class teachers and part-time counselors.
During the discussion and exchange session, four class teachers, i.e. Huang Zhenhua, Li Huayin, Zhang Jingjing, and Jin Jiangfeng, respectively shared their ideas, methods, and experiences in class construction and management. Counselors such as Long Fengxiang, Wu Qinghua, Chen Guo, Wu Jing, and Liu Yue talked about their experiences and gains from their work.
Finally, Xu Gang gave a concluding speech. He first expressed gratitude for the hard work of the part-time class teachers and part-time counselors over the past year, and warmly welcomed the newly hired part-time class teachers and part-time counselors. Xu Gang pointed out that we should attach great importance to the construction of the student work team, leverage the professional advantages of class teachers and counselors, and promote the integration of party building, ideological and political work and business operations. Firstly, do a good job in echelon construction and cultivate high-quality political science talents; Secondly, give play to the role of thought guidance, guide business through party building, and promote development through academy; Thirdly, consolidate logistics support, attach importance to students' needs, and solidly carry out education with warmth.
