The School of Education Carried out Thematic Education on Academic Style Construction
The Voice of CCNU In order to focus on building a new pattern of implementing the fundamental task of cultivating virtue and nurturing talents, adhering to the school motto of "Preaching and Imparting Knowledge, and Practicing with Clear Aspirations", and creating a cultural atmosphere of dedication to learning, the School of Education carried out theme education on academic style construction.
In March, based on the phased learning and development needs of undergraduate students, each grade carried out theme educational activities such as classroom learning, career planning, internship mobilization, and job seeking and further education through the evening call platform, guiding students to welcome the arrival of the new semester with full enthusiasm and preparation, demonstrating the positive and upward style and self-discipline and self-improvement of students in the teaching institute.
Devoted to Learning and Improving Skills
In order to stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning and create a good learning atmosphere, 2023 undergraduate students carried out the "How to Embrace the University Classroom" theme education activity. Counselor Cai Yanan taught students learning methods around establishing classroom goals, taking good classroom notes, actively participating in discussions, and efficiently completing tasks, guiding students to develop good habits, improve professional literacy, and achieve self-development.
Career Guidance and Empowering Development
In order to guide students to establish a correct outlook on life and success, the 2022 level carried out the theme education and career planning sharing activity of "Diligent Learning and Practicing to Cultivate a Study Style". Counselor Wang Lina focused on the professional growth and career development of students, guiding them to solidify their professional foundation, tap into their own potential, and set career goals. Ding Jiasheng's theme was "Obtaining Strength from Nearby Places", reminding students to fully utilize the power of "nearby places" and improve themselves by learning from role models.
Internship Mobilization and Practice knowledge through Action
To further implement the internship work for undergraduate students in 2021, counselor Liu Yaxin conducted pre-intership mobilization around three points: course arrangement, teaching requirements, and safety education, guiding students to fully prepare for the internship. Based on internship arrangements, it is emphasized that students should enhance their awareness of safety, discipline, and responsibility, complete internship requirements with quality and quantity, deepen their understanding of educational content in internship practice, and achieve comprehensive development.
Graduation Education and Precise Implement
To ensure the successful graduation of the 2020 cohort and achieve more comprehensive and high-quality employment, counselor Wang Qianqian launched a series of graduate education activities. From the perspectives of employment and further education, they provided tips and explanations around the aspects of postgraduate entrance examination, job seeking information, and graduation qualification review. They invited outstanding senior students to share their experience in postgraduate entrance examination, encourage students to participate in various job fairs, remind students to complete graduation self-examination, and prepare for employment and further education.
The School of Education has always regarded the construction of academic atmosphere as a systematic project and long-term task in student work, coordinated planning, and steadily promoted it. In the future, our school will continue to focus on the "Xiaojiao Fish Learning and Development Center" and "Xiaojiao Fish Integrated Media Center", improve the "Qi" and "Dao" series of brand activities, and rely on evening themed education to deepen the promotion of the "One Level, One Product" project. We will collaborate with class teachers and undergraduate supervisors both inside and outside the school to do a good job in "comprehensive education", cultivate students' determination to learn diligently and lifelong learning ability, and inject new vitality into the future innovation and development of the country and society.
