The Voice of CCNU In order to ensure the smooth graduation and high-quality full employment of graduates in 2024, School of Information Management recently held consecutive special meetings to assess the situation, analyze problems, and deploy work.
On the morning of March 28th, the college held a conference to promote the employment of undergraduate graduates. Dean Li Yuhai, Wang Tao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, heads of various departments, secretaries of teaching and administrative branches, class teachers for graduating grades, and counselors attended the meeting. Jiang Keming, the counselor of students of grade 2020, reported on the employment situation and difficulties of students of different majors and classes, and the work arrangements of “Five Must Talk” for graduates. Wang Tao made work arrangements in four aspects: analyzing the situation and policies, consolidating work responsibilities, focusing on the two groups, and continuously and effectively promoting. Li Yuhai emphasized in his concluding speech that the situation of student employment is an important indicator of the quality of talent cultivation. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening students’ awareness of employment in advance, and that the college should continue to expand employment channels, strengthen communication between families and schools, cooperate with enterprises, and work together to promote the development of student employment.
On the afternoon of March 28th, the college held a joint meeting of the Party and government to discuss the employment work of graduates, and formed three resolutions. Firstly, the leadership team would take the lead in fully exploring the employment market and accurately promoting employment information. Secondly, optimize the semi monthly reporting system for student employment and provide feedback on employment data through hierarchical classification. Thirdly, strengthen work responsibilities and positive incentives, and improve the employment promotion pattern.
On the afternoon of March 29th, the college held a general meeting of all faculty and staff to emphasize the employment work. Wang Yulu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, announced the relevant resolutions made in the joint meeting of the party and government on promoting employment and put forward some work requirements. The college should coordinate the work of student graduation and full employment, namely attaching great importance to it and getting all staff involved, reversing the construction period and advancing in an orderly manner, strengthening management and paying attention to all the students, and actively promote the high-quality and full employment development of students.
