The Voice of CCNU On the morning of May 17th, 2024, the 12th session of the Counselor Salon - "Implementation Methods and Pathways for Graduates' Group Education Work" was held in the M323 conference room of Building 6. This salon is hosted by the Student Work Department of the Party Committee and organized by the School of Mathematics and Statistics. The salon invited Li Xianling, Deputy Director of the Ideological and Political Affairs Office of the Student Work Department of the Party Committee, and Chen Zhizuo, Director of the Ideological and Political Affairs Office of the Student Work Department of the Party Committee, to give a themed sharing. More than 50 representatives of undergraduate and graduate grade counselors from various training units participated.
Chen Zhi first introduced the educational work arrangement for the graduation season series. He mentioned that each training unit should carry out theme education activities such as themed class meetings and forums for outstanding graduates to select exemplary individuals. Through the "Five Must Talk" work for graduates, pay attention to the group of students facing graduation and employment difficulties, and solidly carry out various work during the graduation season. Subsequently, he made arrangements for specific tasks such as taking graduation photos and handling departure procedures.
Li Xianling has put forward requirements for graduate graduation season related work. She emphasized that each training unit should do a good job in summarizing the academic year of graduates and selecting outstanding graduates. She suggested that counselors should go deep into student dormitories and provide point-to-point assistance to key students. Li Xianling proposed that all training units should establish a collaborative education model, hold mentor work meetings, and create a collaborative work atmosphere. In the process of sharing work experience during the graduation season, she proposed four keywords for the graduate group education activities: "solid", "strong", "warm", and "new". The counselor team should consolidate the foundation of the working masses, strengthen service guarantees, strengthen work cooperation awareness, and exchange work "sincerity" for students "warmth".
