On the afternoon of May 16, the 16th “Research and Learning” Graduate Student Counselor Salon was held in Conference Room No. 12 on the 4th floor of the North Building of the Liberal Arts and Research Building, with the theme of the creation of the “Double Hundred” graduate students, which was hosted by the Party Committee's Department of Student Work and organized by the School of Social Sciences. At the beginning of the activity, Li Xianling, deputy director of the Civic and Political Affairs Department of the Party Committee and Student Work Department, welcomed the arrival of the two sharers, pointing out that the creation of the “Double Hundred” postgraduate students is a major project of quality enhancement and exemplary leadership, which reflects the effectiveness of the integration of party building and education and training, and hoping that, through the exchange of experience, the Civic and Political Affairs team will be able to strengthen their leadership ability and help our postgraduate students to achieve “Double Hundred” quality. It is hoped that through this experience exchange, the ideological and political team can strengthen its leading ability and help the university's graduate students to make further progress in the “Double Hundred” creation work.
At the stage of thematic sharing, Mr. Jun Ma, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of China Academy of Rural Studies (CAAS), shared his experience with the theme of “Reflections and Explorations on the Creation of One Hundred Postgraduate Sample Party Branches in China”, taking the construction of the party branch on the platform of “One Hundred Villages Observation” as an example. In the example of “Hundred Villages Observation” platform party branch construction, from the standardization of the first, to do “three see”; integration and innovation, adhere to the “four double”; to create and improve the quality of the creation of the “five more” three aspects of the creation of a detailed experience sharing. She pointed out that the construction of a model party branch needs to start from the aspects of giving full play to the advantages of disciplines, relying on scientific research platforms and selecting typical party members.
Li Min, a lecturer at the School of Marxism of Huazhong Agricultural University, shared her experience of being selected as one of the first 100 postgraduate party members in China during her postgraduate studies. She introduced her personal experience and achievements in professional studies, academic research, student work and social practice during her postgraduate studies at Huazhong Agricultural University. She believed that the cultivation of postgraduate party members is a two-way interaction between the party members and the training unit, the party members themselves should build up excellent skills in all aspects, and the college should do a good job in linking resources and cultivation support.
