The Voice of CCNU To help our 2024 freshmen adapt to university life as soon as possible, set up ambitious goals, try to recognize the responsibility and historical mission of college students in the new era, and systematically master the theory of national defense and general knowledge of safety precautions, on the afternoon of September 8, CCNU's 2024 freshmen entrance education was held in Youming Gymnasium. The event was hosted by Li Xianling, deputy director of the Civic and Political Affairs Division of the Party Committee's Student Work Department of Huazhong Normal University, and attended by all the undergraduate students of the class of 2024.
First of all, the “Strong Army Has Me” preaching group gave a speech on “Strong National Defense, Strong Army Has Me”. The members of the delegation, Tang Lixiang, Guo Shunxi, Ming Huayi, Lu Dazheng, and Song Yanting, went to the stage one by one to share their personal experiences and deep insights and convey to the new students in military training the sense of mission and responsibility of the era of the strong army and the military and guided the majority of young people to turn patriotic fervor into practical action.
Subsequently, Zhou Mengdi, a police officer from Hubei Anti-Fraud Center, and Hu Lianjun, deputy chief of Hongshan District Traffic Brigade of Wuhan Municipal Public Security Bureau, gave a campus safety lecture to the new students. Zhou Meng Di to “universal anti-fraud you and I walk together” as the theme, explaining the common methods of telecommunications network fraud and preventive measures, reminding the new students to be vigilant and enhance self-protection awareness. Hu Lianjun around the theme of “road safety”, combined with cases, for the new students in a vivid traffic safety class, reminding everyone to abide by traffic rules, and pay attention to driving safety.
