On September 6th, the College of Physical Science and Technology convened a class teacher work exchange meeting for both the Class of 2020 and the fresh Class of 2024. The objective of this gathering was to comprehensively review and discuss the various initiatives implemented by each undergraduate graduating class. Present at the meeting were Xue Qin, Yang Ping, Liu Fuming, Li Zhiming, Tan Wenhu, Wang Ji, and Pang Longgang, the class teachers responsible for the Class of 2020. Additionally, Wang Yaping, Xie Li, Niu Chenhui, Yang Ze, Wang Hulin, and Chen Kai, the class teachers designated for the Class of 2024, attended to engage in mutual learning and exchange of ideas. Zhang Guoping, Pan Xunyong, Yang Lintao, and Li Zhongzhong, representing both the graduating and freshman classes, were also in attendance. The College's Party Secretary Jin Xinli, Deputy Party Secretary Ma Ying, along with counselors Wang Di, Shu Jiaxin, and Yu Siqi, participated to provide guidance and support. Deputy Party Secretary Ma Ying presided over the meeting.
At the meeting, the class teachers combined with the professional characteristics of the last academic year and the actual situation of students to talk and exchange around the internship training, career guidance, academic help, mental health work, class management, etc., and shared their four years of class management experience with the freshman class teachers. Counselor of the graduation class Wang Di reported on the overall destination of the class of 2020 graduates, and introduced various specific implementation measures around graduation and employment.
Jin Xinli, secretary of the Party Committee of the College, fully affirmed the work of the class teachers in charge of the graduating class, saying that the class teachers gave the students full professional guidance, which is a vivid embodiment of the love of education and students. The college attaches great importance to the construction of the class teacher team, pays attention to the play of the class teacher's ideological and political power of collaborative education, and carries out organized talent training. At the same time, he hoped that the new class teacher can continue to inherit and do a solid job in the new class.
This meeting served as a platform for not just sharing information but also fostering a sense of community among educators, reinforcing the college's commitment to holistic and organized talent development.
