In pursuit of warm and engaging education, the "One-Stop" student community strives to enrich the extracurricular lives of students. To help college students alleviate psychological pressure and enhance their psychological well-being, a DIY-themed event was organized to allow participants to discover and capture beauty through hands-on activities. On the evening of October 11, 2024, at 19:00, the 13th "Floating Flower Art Group Class" of the "Heart Power · Happy Night School" was successfully conducted at the One-Stop Student Community Service Center (East 18) in the Mind Flow Space. This event, led by the Psychology Association and Heart Power peer mentor Song Jiawen, attracted 10 enthusiastic students from various colleges.
Preserving Beauty for the Ages
The event commenced with an introduction to the concept of floating flowers and the techniques required for their creation. The organizers had thoughtfully prepared small stickers and paint for the participants. The timeless quest to preserve the beauty of flowers has led to the innovation of turning fresh blooms into eternal flowers, giving birth to the art of floating flowers. This novel floral art form encapsulates the beauty of dried flowers in a liquid medium, symbolizing the aspiration to hold onto beauty.

After grasping the production process, the students eagerly began their creative journey. Each participant selected their preferred flowers, carefully pruning and arranging them to achieve the perfect color combination. The leader offered helpful suggestions and addressed any doubts, fostering a harmonious atmosphere filled with lively discussions and the joy of creation. Students were immersed in crafting their own vibrant and unique floral masterpieces.

Once the preferred flowers were placed in the bottles, the students carefully poured mineral oil and added a touch of their favorite essential oils. They then unleashed their creativity, adorning the bottles with ribbons, personal doodles, or heartwarming quotes. The final touch was a group photo with the handmade works, encapsulating the diverse beauty of the moment for eternity.

The "Floating Flower Art Group Class" was a resounding success, receiving unanimous praise from the participants.
