At the beginning of the meeting, Liu Fang, Deputy Director-Level Organizational Member of the School of Marxism, delivered a speech. He pointed out that the Class Advisor Performance Review and Exchange Meeting was a valuable opportunity for learning and exchange, and he hoped that all class advisors would learn from each other's strengths and weaknesses in the collective discussion, making common progress and contributing to the class construction of their respective classes.

Subsequently, the class advisors of each classes in the school presented their work reports for the year.

The class advisors of the undergraduate grades, based on the actual situations and needs of their students, shared their beneficial experiences and practices in class construction throughout the academic year, including strengthening communication with students, adjusting the way of heart-to-heart talks, paying attention to differentiated evaluations of students' academic year summaries, and organizing class-specific collective activities. They also reported on the problems they encountered in class construction and continuously drew from the excellent experiences of other classes during the exchanges, growing together. Among them, Yao Jinyan, the class advisor of Ideological and Political Education 2102, shared her beneficial experiences and practices in class construction throughout the academic year, such as utilizing school time during holidays to conduct class activities and strengthen class cohesion; providing online consultation and demand response for students during their internships and postgraduate entrance exams; and paying attention to the academic year summaries of the class, carefully and meticulously writing comments for each student. Peng Juhua, the class advisor of Marxist Theory 2101, reported on her guidance and care for students in employment, postgraduate entrance exams, academic paper writing, and other aspects over the past academic year, combining with the situation of non-government-funded normal students in their junior year. She also shared her heartwarming practices of preparing zongzi, mooncakes, and other delicacies for students during traditional festivals such as the Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival, so that students could fully feel the care of the school. Wang Yufan, the class advisor of Marxist Theory 2201 (Ideological and Political Education, non-government-funded), pointed out two key issues faced by students in their junior year, clearer direction and stronger anxiety, in her speech, and introduced in detail a series of measures she took to address these key issues, such as organizing normalized class activities and inviting previous students to share online. Zhang Zhi, the class advisor of the 2022 Philosophy major, reported on a series of measures he took to create a "small philosophical class family" based on the specific situation of the class. He strengthened communication with students and established a close teacher-student relationship by organizing "biweekly reading sessions" between teachers and students, reading the famous work "Zhuangzi" together, cooking and chatting with students on weekends, and other activities.

The class advisors of graduate grades placed greater emphasis on guiding students in academic research and career planning. Lei Yu, the class advisor for 2022 PhD students, described his work as a class advisor this year using the two key words "guidance" and "service," emphasizing that he focused on assisting students in finding literature and resources. By providing students with access to literature databases, book databases, and resource platforms, he helped broaden their academic horizons. Additionally, he consistently conducted "Weekend Thesis Guidance Workshops," providing professional guidance and assistance to students in thesis topic selection, conception, and writing. Li Ling, the class advisor for 2022 Master's students in Philosophy, introduced various differentiated initiatives she implemented for students with different future development plans such as pursuing further doctoral studies, employment, and taking civil service exams. At the end of the meeting, Sun Yongxiang, Party Secretary of the School, delivered a concluding speech. Sun Yongxiang affirmed the work achievements of all the class advisors in the school, pointing out that "carrying out class advisor work is like writing a major thesis on student management and education." All class advisors should closely adhere to the evaluation criteria for class advisor work in all aspects of their duties, and diligently, passionately, and vigorously compose this grand narrative of student management and education, being adept at summarizing, reflecting, and extracting experience from their work. They should clarify the growth characteristics of students at different educational stages and grades, as well as the focal points of class advisor work, strengthen the division of labor and coordination with counselors, and carry out class construction in an organized and planned manner. They should integrate their personal research topics and academic achievements into daily class management and student development, provide good academic and career guidance for students, assist students by leveraging their own academic and growth experiences, as well as resource advantages, and cultivate students into firm young Marxists and qualified socialist successors, enabling students to continuously achieve self-breakthrough and self-development.
