The Long Season is about a very different story happened in the 1990s. It tells the story of great changes slowly, using the warm and bright season to depict the bleak and cold north in people's hearts, and using the shooting rhythm nearly synchronized with the real action to present an era that has been covered by thick filters. The TV play has three time periods of the story, cross jump progress. Their respective joys and sorrows weigh the weight of people's lives during that time. In the end, the fates of different people flow into the same river, which seems to be calm, but has traveled far and wide.
《漫长的季节》是一个截然不同的九零年代的故事。它选择慢慢讲述巨变，选择温暖而明亮的季节描绘人们心中萧索寒冷的北方，选择用近乎与现实动作同步的拍摄节奏，呈现一个已被浓厚滤镜罩住的时代。本剧有三个时间段的故事，交叉跳跃进行。它们各自的悲喜轻重掂量着那时间段里人们生命的重量。最终，不同人的命运汇入同一条河流，那条河流看似平静，却已走过千山万水。
Spanning 20 years, from 1997 to 2017, the story paints an ambitious picture of The Times. In the context we are familiar with, that era has always been associated with high spirits and optimism, people moving towards a bright future, ushering in the new millennium, ushering in the new century. But "The Long Season" is cruel. The characters in the drama, however, meet opposite fates. So a set of images of a time that was once grand and warm in memory was finally "dismembered" by the jigsaw of these stories -- and they showed themselves as they really were, as depressing and disappointing as they were. Countless lost details add up to another pattern, making us finally remember that not everyone had a bright future at that time.
