How time flies! Our agreeable and colorful summer vacation has gone and a new semester approaches, in the blink of an eye. Eventually, a large crowd of students “climb” up the Guizi Mountain, becoming freshmen of CCNU. Those freshmen, who have experienced the cruel and strained college entrance examination, will be bewildered when they face heaps of governable time and a great range of courses. Some of them are eager to forge themselves to be better when studying in CCNU. At this time, I will introduce some useful information to freshmen, in order to help them become successful learners!
时光飞逝如白驹过隙，转眼间，轻松愉快的暑假生活结束了，新的一学期又开始了。桂子山也终于迎来了它的新生们。刚刚经历了残酷而紧张的高考的新生们，面对一大把自由支配的时间和一系列有趣的课程，可能是不知所措的。有的同学渴望在大学磨练自己，寻找到更优秀的自己，因此这一次，我将为萌新们介绍有关大学课程的相关信息，帮助他们走上学霸之路！
In the first semester, the related teachers will schedule courses for freshmen, so there is no need to be nervous--just be patient and finish the military training. But some special courses need selecting,such as computer course and physical education curriculum. The platform for curricula-variable is the Educational Management System of CCNU(students can enter the online One-Stop Service of CCNU and find it. URL: http://one.ccnu.edu.cn). Since the principle of curricula-variable is “first come,first served”, so it is quite important for freshmen to schedule their courses in the right time.
第一个学期，新生们的专业课都将由学校相关工作人员统一安排，因此同学们不用焦虑会有选不到课的情况，安心等待军训结束就好了。但计算机课和体育课是需要同学们自主选课的，选课的平台是华师的“教务管理系统”，（同学们可以登录“华师网上一站式服务门户”快速找到，网址：http://one.ccnu.edu.cn）选课遵循先到先得原则，因此新生们看准时机选课，显得尤为关键。
Mei Yiqi, the former president of Qinghua university, once said:”What makes a good university is the quality of masters, instead of the quantity of buildings in it.” In CCNU,we will not only know a famous professor, Dai Jianye, who has a sense of humor and often provides innovative opinions when teaching poems, but also other distinguished and remarkable professors who have a strong personality. Some of them focus on the textbook and teach professional knowledge deeply; the others pay more attention to broadening students’ horizon and lead students to find their own interests. Some teachers are serious and earnest while the others are vigorous and fascinating；some are sedate and sober, but the others are passionate and enthusiastic. In a word, if we are eagle-eyed and are thirsty for knowledge, we will find out teachers’ talent and then go further on our way of learning.
正如清华大学前校长梅贻琦先生所说：“大学者，非有大楼之谓也，有大师之谓也。”华师不仅仅有讲课幽默风趣、解诗角度奇特的戴建业老师，还聚集了其他非常优秀、性格各异的学者教授们。有的老师上课聚焦于书本内容，深入讲授专业知识；有的老师侧重于拓宽学生视野，引导学生发现自己兴趣；有的老师严肃正经，有的风趣活泼；有的老师稳重沉静，有的激情澎湃。总之，若是我们带着一双善于发现的眼睛和一颗渴慕知识的心，发现老师的可爱之处，就能在学霸道路上越走越远！
For successful learners, it is never enough to learn professional knowledge of their own schools merely, instead, they broaden their knowledge areas as much as possible. If you are interested in other courses, you can grasp the opportunity to rub lessons! At first, you’d better find a sophomore or a senior to get more information about lessons which you are eager to know. But sometimes, their recommendations don’t meet your expectation, or you want to collect more information before choosing courses. Then, you can enter the Cloud Class of CCNU to get deeper realization about a course(URL： http://spoc.ccnu.edu.cn). In the Center of Courses, you can search for any courses you want，and through this way, teachers’ courseware will be found easily, in which you can realize what will be taught in class and the way of assessment, and so on. Finally, if you decide to rub the lesson, talking with your teacher honestly and frankly and explaining your reasons will be more feasible and accessible.
对于学霸来说，仅仅学习本专业的知识还是不够的，他们总是尽可能地扩充自己的知识领域。如果你也对其他学科感兴趣，那么就选择在各个学院之间蹭课吧！首先，新生们可以先找学长学姐们了解你们感兴趣的课程，当然，学长学姐们的推荐有时候并不能契合你们的心意，或者你们想要更深入地了解，那么，接下来就可以在进入“华师云课堂”（网址：http://spoc.ccnu.edu.cn），在“课程中心”中，搜索你想要了解的课程。通过这种方式，你可以看到老师们的课件，了解老师们的上课内容与考核方式等等。最后，如果你已经下定决心蹭课了，那么在上课之前坦诚地和老师沟通，说明你的情况，会达到更好的效果哦。
