University is, of course, about academic study, following your vocation, reading Kafka and discussing Kinematics, but more importantly than all that, for a lot of people, going to university is their first step into the big wide world. University is about learning how to survive in the wild, and (hopefully) making life-long friends in the process.

As a sophomore student, my one-year life at the University of CCNU taught me just as much as about my course, Chinese Literature. So, having just about learnt how to successfully survive as a student, here are my top ten tips to help make life a bit easier and to ensure you enjoy your time at university from your first moments onwards.
作为一名大二的学生，在华师一年的生活教会了我包括我的专业——中文在内的很多东西。所以，在刚刚学会如何作为一名学生成功地适应大学生活之后，我给出了我的一些建议，它们可以帮助你让生活变得更轻松，并确保你从大学的第一天开始就享受大学时光。
1. Manage your workload
Staying on top of the workload is crucial. All I'd say is prioritizing your workload and making sure you take a break when you feel the workload is getting too much.

掌握好学习任务的度是至关重要的。我想说的就是分清工作的轻重缓急，当你觉得学习量太大时，一定要休息一下。
2. Plan out a weekly budget
Don't spend all your money on Fresher Week. If you haven't really worked before university then you may not have seen that much money in your account before. But remember that it's still a loan that you need to be sensible with.

不要把你所有的钱都花在开学的第一周上。如果你在大学之前没有真正工作过，那么你可能以前在你的账户里没有见过那么多钱。但要记住，这仍然是一笔你需要理智对待的钱。
3. Make the most of the first year
The first year can often be a little lighter academically than subsequent years, so it's worth enjoying it.

4. Stay true to yourself
You don't have to be an extrovert to enjoy the experience - don't feel obliged to go on nights out because you feel forced to (you will regret it in the morning). Alternatively, if you do have a big personality, make the most of your student life, as life after university is nowhere near as cheap.

你不必成为一个外向的人来享受这种体验——不要因为你觉得被迫而觉得晚上出去玩(你会在早上后悔)是必须的。或者，如果你确实很有个性，充分利用你的学生生活，因为大学毕业后的生活远没有那么轻松。
