About the visa:
If you intend to take an international trip, this is one of the most essential applications. Check it on google if you ought to inquire one in advance, since some of the countries provide the visa service in the destination airport (for example Malaysia and Thailand support this policy for Chinese). While if you need to apply for it ahead of your journey, search for a list of procedures which are required and make a careful confirmation before you send it to the embassies. Apart from that, you’d better not entrust this step to some traveling agencies (Don’t ask why I know this, my application for the Germany visa was rejected several years ago).
关于签证：
如果你想出境旅行，签证是必备证件之一。因为有些国家支持落地签服务（比如马来西亚和泰国为中国游客提供免签），所以你需要先上网查询一下是否需要提前申请签证。如果需要的话，我建议你上网搜索你要准备的材料清单，并且在准备妥当，寄往大使馆之前仔细核对。以及，你最好不要委托旅行社帮你办理这些手续（不要问我为什么知道这件事，几年前我的德签被拒了）。
About the itinerary:
Of course you can choose to go on a trip without any specific targets, but if you have a tight schedule, a reasonable itinerary will assist you with saving much time. So here I recommend an app called Ma Feng, which offers some basic information about these popular tourist spots as well as the traveling dairies or experiences shared by others. But the reason why I prefer it is that it has a function named “what’s around”, which shows the attractions, restaurants and hotels nearby, making everything easier.
关于路线：
你当然可以来一场说走就走的旅行，但是如果以时间紧迫，一个好的路线规划会帮你节省很多时间。所以，我推荐蚂蜂APP。它会给你推荐许多热门景点的基本信息，还有其他旅行达人的游览经验分享。 但是我觉得它的“附近”功能非常实用，它可以帮你推荐附近的景点，酒店和饭店，这样安排行程就更简单了。
About the transportation:
When it comes to the tickets, pay attention to the prices of your flights, as they will drop to their bottom points at about one month before the leaving dates. On the contrary, those of train tickets usually fluctuate in a certain range during a period of time, but there are still some of the price spread in different purchasing website, just compare before you buy it. And the planes are actually more complicated. If you have a change during your flights, the international flights in particular, please select the ones whose transfers are in the foreign countries, because they have less chance of delaying (And don’t ask me why I know this again). Join in the memberships of several flight companies that you prefer, it is fantastic to upgrade your class during the long-time journeys as you wouldn’t suffer from the flight rag so much. Apply for a local transport card for travelers just like the Oyster Cards if it is possible for an extra discount and learn the methods of transportation in these regions.
关于交通：
说到机票，一定要经常关注它的价格，机票的最低降额大概会出现在离出发一个月左右。相反，火车票在特定的季度票价只是小范围浮动， 但是在售车票在不同网站上的价格有可能也不同，购买前一定要多加比较。但是，机票的购买相对比较复杂。如果你打算购买需要中转的航班，尤其是国际航班，你最好选择在国外转机的航班，这样航班延误的风险就会大为降低（别问我为什么又懂了）。你也可以选择加入你喜欢的航班公司的会员，这样你在长途飞行时就可以升舱了，就能够大大减少旅途的疲惫。当然你还可以申请当地的游客交通折扣卡，比如伦敦的牡蛎卡，同时也要熟悉一下当地的交通方式。
About the accommodation:
I suggest that the reservations of your rooms should be made in advance especially in the peak seasons. However, if you have a tight budget, book rooms or hostels at Airb&b or booking, and in the process of accommodation, you can totally immerse yourself in the rhythm of the local life, simultaneously, practice your communication ability, though the translation apps sometimes seem to be more efficient.
关于住宿：
在旅游旺季，我还是强烈建议你提前预定房间。如果你的预算不多，可以在爱彼迎或者Booking上面预定民宿，这样在住宿过程中，不仅可以沉浸式体验当地的生活，还可以锻炼你的交流能力，虽然有时翻译软件显然更方便一些。
About the food & the entertainment:
Remember to make reservations or book for tickets if you have any special plans, for instance the local parades, the regional experiences and the Michelin stars. Or if you don’t want to pay much attention to these, just wander around and explore. In this part, the apps Trip Advisor and Dianping are my personal recommendation.
关于饮食和娱乐：
如果你有安排类似当地表演，文化体验或者米其林餐厅这样的特殊项目，一定要记得提前预定。但如果没有，那就在当地自由探索吧，关于这个部分，我比较推荐大众点评和猫途鹰。
We always say something just like everyone of us is unique, the joys and sorrows of mankind are not interlinked. But if you try to be more proactive, you will find that we have a lot in common, and the ice, stereotypes, even the discrimination would be broken down in such a process. So don’t be afraid and going on a trip, this world is always out of your imagination.
我们常说，我们每一个人都是独一无二的，人类的悲欢并不相通。但是如果你更加主动一些，你就会发现我们是有如此多的共同点，我们之间的隔阂，刻板印象以至于偏见都会如此轻易地被打破。所以别害怕出去旅行吧，这个世界超乎你的想象。
