This year is the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Aimed at further disseminating the knowledge of the history of the party and cultivating the spirits of the party, a variety of activities have been launched on the campus nowadays, such as lectures, recital contests, chorus competitions and so on. After participating in these various activities actively， I learned the spirit of dedication from them.
今年是建党一百周年。为了更深远地宣传党史知识并培育党的精神，近期各种各样的活动在校园进行。在积极参加这些活动之后，我学到了奉献精神。
The spirit of dedication means devoting ourselves to the same task selflessly and going all out to make joint efforts for the same goal as a part of a collective. Looking back upon the history of the party, our party achieved an unprecedented altitude to the understanding of the significance of solidarity and dedication during the Long March. It is no exaggeration to say that thanks to the soldiers’ great interwork and loyal dedication to the party and sincere contribution to husbandmen, the Long March ended in triumph.
奉献精神意味着将自己作为集体的一份子无私地献身于集体的任务并且为了集体的共同目标不遗余力地做好联合的努力。回溯党的历史，我们党在长征期间对团结和奉献的重要性的认识到达了前所未有的高度。毫不夸张地说，正是因为士兵们的绝佳配合和对党的衷心、对百姓的真心付出，长征最终得以取得胜利。
Actually, I obtained the sense of achievement and enjoyment at the process of dedication. Take the experience of taking part in the drama competition as a tribute to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party for example, I worked as one of the scriptwriters and played a role， having a deeper understanding of the dedication of the party to build a stronger country for all Chinese. Additionally, with the joint efforts of our team, we finally won a prize. Even though tiring and unremunerative, the experience taught me the value of dedication as a part of the collective.
事实上，我在奉献中获得了成就感和愉悦感。以我参加为建党一百周年献礼的话剧比赛的经历为例，我作为编剧和演员，对党为了给所有中国人建立一个更强大的国家的奉献有了更深的理解。因为我们团队共同的努力，我们最终也获得了奖项。
“When you serve others, no longer life is meaningless”， as the saying goes. We all should study and inherit the spirit of dedication, which is the treasure the century-long history of the party left us.
正如格言所说，“当你服务他人的时候，人生不再是毫无意义的。”我们都应该学习并继承百年党史留给我们的财富——奉献精神。
