People have different views about the admission fees for museums and art galleries. While there are several advantages concerning charging an admission fee which I will try to explain, I reckon that it is better to have individuals entered for free.
人们对于博物馆和美术馆收费有不同的看法。尽管博物馆和美术馆收费有利有弊，我认为让人们免费进入是更好的做法。
Taking the expenses for management and maintaining into account, it is reasonable and beneficial to receive ticket proceeds. Only with sufficient funds can museums and art galleries provide service and mount activities. From the electricity consumption to the protection of substances on display, it is impossible to work out the continual tasks without money. In the consumerism era, it is in alignment with the common sense and logic to pay for the service and knowledge and pull the economy circulation.
考虑到管理和维护的费用，获得门票收入是合理且有益的。只有拥有足够的资金，博物馆和美术馆才能提供服务、开展活动。从用电到保护展出品，没有钱是不可能完成这些不断而来的任务的。在消费主义时代，为服务和知识付费，拉动经济循环，也是符合常识和逻辑的。
Ultimately, though, it is short-sighted to solely pay attention to the economic benefits of museums and art galleries, which being regarded as educational bases for civilians on humanity, science and sense of beauty. Whether the fee is high or low, admission fees may be likely to keep people away from museums and art galleries, especially local habitants. Nowadays, the authorities have been increasingly willing to provide financial support to museums and art galleries as part of the public and education service, while carrying out the free-admission policy, aimed at promoting cultural inheritance and creating cultural landmarks.
但归根结底，博物馆和美术馆被认为是人文、科学与审美的教育基地，只看重它们的经济效益是短视的。无论收费是高是低，门票都有可能使人们远离博物馆和美术馆，尤其是当地的居民。如今，为了促进文化传承、创建文化地标，当局越来越愿意为博物馆和美术馆提供财政支持，作为公共教育服务的一部分，并执行免费开放政策。
Admittedly, there are pros and cons when it comes to the admission fees for museums and art galleries. However, I do believe that, in the long run, the disadvantages of admission fees outweigh the advantages.
诚然，博物馆和美术馆收门票有好处也有坏处。但我认为从长远来看,收费的结果是弊大于利的。
