Huangguoshu Waterfall, named after the tree bearing the “yellow fruit” in the mythical story of Huangguoshu Waterfall in Guizhou since ancient times, is located in Zhenning Buyi Miao Autonomous County, Anshun City, Guizhou Province, China. It is one of the world's most famous waterfalls, being known for its great water power. The height of the waterfall is 77.8 meters, and the waterfall is 101 meters wide.
黄果树瀑布得名于贵州民间自古以来流传的黄果树瀑布的神话故事中结“黄果”的树。位于中国贵州省安顺市镇宁布依族苗族自治县，是世界著名大瀑布之一。以水势浩大著称。瀑布高度为77.8米，宽101米。
Huangguoshu Waterfall became famous first in the Ming Dynasty, after that, generations of celebrities’ travel and promotion formed the basis of the reputation of the waterfall. Xu Xiake, the geographer, traveler, essayist in Ming Dynasty, inspected and recorded the Huangguoshu Waterfal in the way to enter Yunnan. Subsequently, generations of literati and writers wrote poems in praise of Huangguoshu Waterfall.

The Waterfall Cave is located between 40 and 47 meters from the Huangguoshu Waterfall and is 143 meters long. The Huangguoshu Waterfall is spectacular enough from a distance, but it is only by walking through it that you may appreciate the majesty and beauty of the Huangguoshu Waterfall.
水帘洞在黄果树瀑布40到47米的位置，全长143米。远观大瀑布已经足够壮观，但在大瀑布里穿行才更能领略到黄果树瀑布的雄奇和壮美。
Apart from the Waterfall Cave, you can't miss the Doupotang Waterfall, which is located 1km upstream of the Huangguoshu Waterfall and is about 105 meters wide, making it the widest waterfall in the Huangguoshu Waterfall group. It is amazing that when the rainy season arrives, the waterfall will lose its gentleness and roar like a wild horse.
