Recent decades have witnessed an incredible rise in the number of university students. Where there are people applauding for the high percentage of students receiving advanced education, there are concerns on their high unemployment. From my perspective, a large segment of population attaining access to universities can benefit the country more in the long term.
近几十年来，大学生人数快速增长。一些人为接受高等教育的学生比例之高而喝彩，也有一些人担忧他们的高失业率。在我看来，从长远来看，大量人口进入大学学习更有利于国家的发展。
Evidently, individuals equipped with advanced knowledge and ethic principles will promote the sustainable development of a country. It is well known that talents of high technology learn most of their specialized fields in their universities, where they have chances to choose one particular major to deeply study in. Without these university students with great command of expertise, some schemes, like the design of spacecrafts, can never been accomplished smoothly. As well as that, there are a plethora of researches showing that education in universities exerts positive impacts on individuals' comprehensive development, with the excellent cooperation capacity and self-discipline.
显而易见，掌握先进知识和道德准则的人将促进一个国家的可持续发展。众所周知，高科技人才在大学里学习的大多是专业领域的知识，他们有机会选择某一专业进行深入学习。如果没有这些掌握专业知识的大学生，一些工程计划，如航天器的设计，就不可能顺利完成。此外，大量研究表明，大学教育对个人的全面发展、卓越的合作能力和自律能力有着积极的影响。
Admittedly, some of the worries on the phenomenon are not unfounded. With more talents of high academic qualifications crowding into the employment market, the difficulty of finding a decent job for everyone has been a trend. However, instead of complaining about devaluation of education, candidates and employees should give more weight to their own capacities to work and adapt, calling for the authorities and society furnish a employment environment and economy prospects, which is perhaps the core of the question.
诚然，人们对这一现象的担忧并非毫无根据。当更多高学历人才涌入人才市场，找到一个每个人都认为是体面的工作就会越来越困难。然而，与其抱怨学历贬值，应聘者和员工应更加重视自身的工作能力和适应能力，同时呼吁政府和社会提供就业环境和经济前景，或许这才是问题的核心所在。
In conclusion, it is unfair to just blame the increasing number of university students for their unemployment, and I harbor that these students can contribute to the development of the country more with what they have learned on campus.
总而言之，一味地把大学生失业的原因归咎于大学生人数的增加是不公平的。在我看来，这些大学生能用他们在校园里学到的知识为国家的发展做出更大的贡献。
