In the morning of Oct.28th, Student Union of Youth League Committee of Mathematics and Statistics Institute organized quality development activities named‘Zhongyan Plan’ for group training on the east basketball court . Aiming to improve team cooperation among members and draw them closer through playing games, this activity laid a foundation for the cooperation and mutual assistance of all departments in the future. At nine o’clock in the morning, all members of Student Union of Mathematics and Statistics Institute gathered on the east basketball court. After counting and grouping, Chi xunhong, Minister of the Organization Department, introduced the rules and content of the game:” In this activity, each group should search for eight game locations, finishing corresponding games according to the given suggestions, and finally return to the starting point for statistical results.” Then, each group leader shall select the first game site, and the quality development activity shall start officially.
This activity's guide words were ‘between 69, mathematics and statistics’ home,’ ‘at 6 o 'clock of Monday, Chinese red ‘ ,‘flower king, tang xianzu's work’ and ’ the wood intersects with each other, don’t ask for directions’ and many other words with regional characteristics. Through these words, students attained a more particular knowledge of school locations and campus activities. In the dragon boat game in higher vocational stadium, all 15 people were required to ride the dragon boat for 100 meters without falling down on the way. In the process of the game, the group members shouted slogans, shaking and moving forward a little bit, thus attracting many students passing by to take out their mobile phones and film this wonderful moment. Through this game, the team members have enhanced the cohesion and also experienced the strength of unity. Meanwhile, the game ‘stand with love through thick and thin’ held in light basketball court blocked many groups. To catch the serve with the basket tied on the feet, team members made a variety of gestures, winning rapturous applause from off-court audience.
After a morning of running, the fifth group won the championship. Other groups were not to be outdone and still in hot pursuit with the champion. After all the groups arrived, zhu yinhe, Deputy Head of the Organization Department, announced the ranking of the event and awarded prizes to each group according to the order in which the group arrived. After the event, all the officers expressed that they benefited a lot and hoped to apply the spirit of solidarity to their future work. Among them, zhang shenqi, Director of the Department of Life, said that this was the most meaningful group activity she had participated in since she entered the university.
