On October 21st, all the party members among postgraduates of grade 2018 in our college convened the October branch party day activity in the conference room on the first floor of building six. The theme of this activity was “Studying the Spirit of the National Education Conference” and “Learning and Implementing the Important Indicative Spirit General Secretary Xi Jinping Mentioned on Eliminating Evil”. The meeting was undertaken by the First Party Branch and the Second Party Branch, and was hosted by the First Party Branch Secretary Li Qili.
At the beginning, all the Party members paid the October party fee, reviewed oath of joining the party, recited the Party Constitution.
After that, Comrade Xu Jie led all the party members to study the spirit of the national education conference, and emphasized that teachers are the foundation of establishment of education and the source of thriving of education. Following Comrade Chu Yaqing and Xiong Zhenrong, all the party members learned and implemented the important indicative spirit General Secretary Xi Jinping mentioned on eliminating evil thoroughly.
Subsequently, all the party members had an exchange learning on this activity. Based on what had been seen and heard about the swatting flies action in hometown, the Second Party Branch Secretary admonished everyone that a party member must observe party discipline strictly and never break the law or discipline. Comrade Dou Yingying expressed her views on eliminating evil and its protecting umbrella, mentioning that unlicensed vehicle in her hometown Harbin had the same interests as their protecting umbrella. She also showed her deep trust in our national strength on account of the improved situation in her hometown after our country stepped up the intensity of crackdown. Comrade Ouyang Yang expressed his opinions on the spirit of the national education conference. “As normal students, we will be teachers in the future, which requires us to take educating students as the core and establishing morality as the foundation,” said Ouyang Yang. “We should fully implement our party’s education policy and try hard to train socialist builders and successors of all-round development for our party and country.” In addition, other Party branch members, Comrade Guo Jiaxing and Liu Ke et al., shared their opinions as well.
Before the end of the meeting, Li Qili stressed party members’ rights and obligations again, pointing out that party members should actively finish their work of recruiting party members and constructing branches. In the end, Li Qili announced the successful conclusion of the branch party day activity.
