The Voice of CCNU News Principal Zhao met with teachers and students on behalf of history base class of 2018 on the morning of 4th April. To carry out spirit of the notice about enhancing and improving the work of leading cadres in colleges and universities staying close to the grassroots and contacting with students from Party of ministry of education, and according to the deployment of school, the history base class of 2018 is decided to be the class where Zhao Lingyun , principal and deputy party secretary of CCNU , keeps in touch with students. Secretary of the party Ji Hong, deputy party secretary Kang Wei, head teacher Li Ming , instructor Wang Xijie and Monitor Li Jiahao of the class, all above from department of history participated in the meeting.
Principal Zhao had a friendly communication with representatives from the department of history and asked about how the group of instructors, head teachers, and academic mentors et cetera carry out cooperative education and how students hold the activities about league and so on. Besides, he called the millennial students of 2018”post-eggs generation” (the number”0”is like an egg), also, he cared about the problems on students’ study, life, and growth and listened to the thoughts of student representatives with patience. He said that the work of liaising with history base class of 2018 is the decision and measure of the Party committee in order to respond actively and implement relevant spirit from Party of ministry of education, which is the duty of a principal and the mission of scholars working for the researches on history and relevant fields to educate people. For the aim of the work, he put forward three points: First, listen to the opinions and advice of students carefully, thus helping to gather strength in educating students; Second, look into the demands of students and cope with the problems related to students’ benefits , which is aimed at listening to students, caring for students and serving for students; Third, students of 2018, the millennials, is forward-thinking and energetic, from whom he gets inspiration in the communication, and he hopes to promote the school and students to make progress together by connecting deeply.
Principal Zhao said he would join in the class collective with the identity of deputy head teacher and carried out the work of educating students regularly by staying close to the grassroots, moreover, he proposed the imagination and requirements about three “one”: First, build one platform where principal can communicate with students in order that teachers and students can have an access to interact with each other. Second, take part in one class meeting or activity on the league day once a month and enhance guidance on leading thoughts, researching and studying major, integrated development and so on. Third, hold one symposium centring on contents about subjects, majors and science and so on regularly to instruct the development of the students learning career.
