Excellent Interaction Burning Enthusiasm

After the gift-giving and sing-along games, the enthusiasm of the children had been aroused. With smiles on their faces, they boldly raised their hands to speak and interact with the university students.

Then the blind students amazed the audience with their talent show. Firstly, the fourth grade children sang "The Trumpeter's Song," with their neat movements and loud and clear singing, which kept the applause in the classroom for a long time. Then the eighth grade students performed the "Hong Hu Red Guards" with their ocarina septet, which was also very exciting. Ms. Zhang Long said that the children had won many provincial and national awards in various talent competitions, and the reason for these wonderful performances and excellent results was the diligent training of the students, who were really very good.

Interesting Allegro Leads to Classics

The learning focus of this practical course was the red story and the "Yun Daiying Youth Motto" of the great revolutionary martyr and distinguished predecessor of CCNU, Comrade Yun Daiying. In order to bring the revolutionary story to life for the children, the students of CCNU created their own text and introduced the red characters through allegro performance. When they got to the point where they said, "Please get ready for the red classics," the sound of the allegro stopped abruptly and everyone was filled with expectation. The students of CCNU then used storytelling to tell the story of Yun Daiying's life. The children listened with great interest and were attracted to the new way of learning.

Emotional Recitation Recall Martyrs

The emotional lead recitation and unanimous recitation of Yun Daying's "On the Power to Save the Country" (excerpted) brought the students and teachers back to those days of war, and when they read "Save China, save yourself, only through the revolution", they looked solemn and expressed their infinite respect and remembrance of the revolutionary martyrs. This way of learning allowed the children to immerse themselves in the red classics and deepen their understanding of the heroic figures of the revolution. The students were deeply inspired by the martyrs, and one eighth grade student said, "I will try to be a qualified red storyteller in my life in the future and better spread red culture to my friends around me."

Towards the end of the course, the students from CCNU and the primary and secondary school students from the blind school sang "Me and My Country". The students sang with great enthusiasm and emotion, feeling proud of our country.

Gain a lot and Express Feelings

At the end of the course, the teachers and students present spoke positively about their feelings. A fourth grade student said excitedly, "I had a lot of fun taking part in this activity and learned a lot of things I didn't know before." And an eighth grade student said, "It felt great to participate in the class, to really understand and get into the heroes of the revolution, and I hope to take part in more activities like this in the future." "The red stories told by the students of CCNU were very moving, and I learned a lot today with my classmates," said Qiang Ruo, the fourth grade class teacher at the blind school."In fact, the children in our blind school are no different from ordinary people. They will have systematic and professional learning every day and also have rich after-school activities. The students are all very lively and cheerful.

Zhang Long, the eighth grade class teacher, exclaimed, "This activity really reflected the activity theme of 'Big Hands Hold Small Hands'. Students are linked together by the Red Classics course, and the older and younger students learn from each other and progress together during the activity. I hope we can all carry on the love; love for others, love for society, and love for this country, and put patriotism into practice in small ways. " Ms. Zhang highlighted an eighth grade student who put his patriotic actions into practice by calling on his whole family to save food. The story touched everyone present, and everyone applauded for the student in unison. Ms. Zhang spoke highly of the practical course and expressed her hope that the Red Classics course would go further.
