To promote the smooth running of the work of the Student Council of the College of Foreign Languages and to enhance the campers' sense of participation and recognition of student work, the third plenary committee and year-end report conference of the Student Council of the College of Foreign Languages of CCNU for the academic year 2021–2022 was held in classroom 3218 at noon on December 27th. Yang Lingzhen, Deputy Secretary of the College of Foreign Languages' Party Committee; Niu Jing, Secretary of the College of Foreign Languages' Youth League Committee; Qiu Ling, English Department Counselor of the Class of 2019, Cheng Wen, Minor Language Counselor of the Class of 2019, Wang Li, English Department Counselor of the Class of 2021, and Xu Yuan, Minor Language Counselor of the Class of 2021 attended the conference. The conference was hosted by Liu Ruirui, the office director.
The sense of the conference
At the beginning of the conference, all members sang the league song. The second item of the conference was the year-end presentation by the principal people of each department. First of all, the principal person of the Organization Department, Huang Xinfei, gave a speech, focusing on the work achievements of the Organization Department in thought leadership and organization construction, highlighting the characteristics of "effectiveness, relevance, and modernity" of the department's work. Zou Yunhao, the principal person of the Youth Volunteer Association, reported on the theme of "Rooted in foreign language characteristics, sounding the voice of the times" from four aspects: organization building, activity holding, advocacy reporting, and typical cultivating. He said that the Youth Association had actively participated in various volunteer projects and cultivation competitions this year and will continue to show the style of the college of foreign languages and promote the volunteer spirit in the future.

Hua Tiantian, the principal person of the Club Department, said at the end of the report, "The Club Department will strive to improve the quality of social activities recorded in the monthly report to promote better work in the department in the next semester." Liu Xianghan, the principal person of the Department of Rights and Services, reviewed the efforts and achievements of the Department in the aspects of internal construction, daily work, and organized activities. She summed up the work of the department with the words "thoughtfulness, innovation, and craftsmanship" and said that in the new year, the department will continue to stick to the purpose of "With wholehearted rights and interests, the department loves you! " and will bring more warmth to the students of the college. The principal person of the Archives and Research Department, Xu Anqi, started her presentation with two aspects: work summary and future outlook. She believed that "the department should strengthen team building, pay attention to coordination and cooperation with other departments, and make progress through cross-disciplinary mutual assistance. Liu Xiaoyi, the principal person of the Technical Department, introduced the regular work and departmental construction of the technical department, and demonstrated the working attitude of the technical department of "growing through trial and progressing through cooperation," and looked forward to writing the chapter of the technical department every moment in the future.

In the third item of the conference, Yang Lingzhen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Foreign Languages, made a concluding speech. First of all, she affirmed the work achievements of all departments of the Student Council and expressed her gratitude for the dedication and contribution of the members to the college and the students. In addition, Yang Lingzhen emphasized the key role of the cadres in the construction of the college from four aspects: cherishing the training opportunities, playing the demonstration effect, taking on the dedication and inheriting the spirit of the league; and putting forward expectations for the cadres: "Each cadre should improve the requirements for themselves and be a model for people around them; each department should build its departmental characteristics and show off the style of the College of Foreign Languages." Starting from the experience of outstanding league cadres, she encouraged the cadres present to raise their status, enhance their pattern, and improve themselves in serving students. Lastly, she called on the students present to be powerful and sentimental cadres, to cherish the opportunity to work out in the league, to be bold in the trial, and to accumulate experience for their future personal growth and development.
