In order to help students master more efficient study methods and prepare for the final exam smoothly, on the evening of January 3, 2022, the 2021 class of School of Chinese Language and Literature carried out a late call-up activity with the theme of "Peers Help Grow Together, Share Methods and Lead the Way forward". The main speakers of the activity were Zhu Yanlin, a peer tutor from the sixth class of the public teacher, Zhang Yanruyu, a peer tutor from the tenth non-teacher class, and Zhao Na and Shu Jiaxin, the 21 class counselors.

At the beginning of the activity, the two peer tutors said that the end of the term was imminent. First of all, we must maintain a correct attitude to prepare for the exam, not be too nervous and anxious, and arranged the review plan in an orderly manner. Secondly, it was necessary to strictly observe the examination discipline, correct the examination attitude, pay attention to the examination atmosphere, strictly prohibit the examination misconduct, and establish a correct examination view. In addition, the two class "little tutors" also encouraged students to increase their self-confidence and take the exam calmly.
Zhu Yanlin explained the review key-points for the students from the aspects of organizing notes, analyzing works, and proficiently reciting, and provided effective review skills. She suggested that the students sort out the time line and arrange the schedule according to the "forgetting curve", so as to achieve the purpose of efficient review. Zhang Yanruyu suggested that students should clarify the relationship between knowledge points, systematically integrate review materials according to the knowledge logic and question type requirements of the subject, and comprehensively review the knowledge points. The two peer tutors, combined with the subject characteristics of each course and the specific propositions of previous exams, guided the students to grasp the study method in a targeted manner, especially emphasizing that they should not be purely utilitarian and should write their own unique thinking in the essay questions.

In the end, the two peer tutors suggested that students should make study plans according to the priorities of their study tasks when there was too much review content, and shared some tips for staying focused in terms of environment selection, for example, studying in the library will be more concentrated than reading in the dormitory. They also reminded students that they should pay attention to the combination of work and rest, strengthen peer communication, and maintain a good and healthy attitude for exam preparation.
After the sharing, the students actively raised their hands to ask questions about the exam, and the atmosphere was warm. Through the late call-up activity, everyone had benefited a lot, relieved the anxiety about the final exam, built up self-confidence, and learned to meet the final exam with a good attitude. The “Peers lead learning” model of School of Chinese Language and Literature fully uses the role of “student ideology and politics” in educating people, as well as the pioneering and leading role of outstanding students in senior grades, and builds an education service system centered on student growth. School of Chinese Language and Literature will continue to fully practice the "Peers lead learning" launch plan, and further promote the construction of the school's style of study.
