On January 13, the award ceremony of "Zhou Hongyu CCNU Outstanding Talent Award" in 2021 was held in the conference room on the first floor of the Administration Building. Zhou Hongyu, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Hubei Provincial People's Congress, member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and Professor of the School of Education, Zhao Lingyun, Secretary of the Party Committee of CCNU, Ren Youzhou, Vice President of CCNU, as well as the heads of functional departments, award-winning teachers and students attended the award ceremony.
Ren Youzhou read out the decision on recognizing the winners of the 2021 "Zhou Hongyu CCNU Outstanding Talent Award". Two teachers, Gu Wenling and Kuang Bing, and four students, Shi Conrong, Zhao Kai, Chen Ming and international student Wu Anping, received the 2021 " Zhou Hongyu CCNU Outstanding Talent Award".
In her acceptance speech, Gu Wenling, the representative of the award-winning teachers, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to CCNU and school for providing a platform for young teachers to grow and creating an atmosphere for education and research, and promised that she would turn this honor into inexhaustible motivation, constantly improve herself and do her best to continue to work hard for the development of CCNU.
Wu Anping, the representative of the awarded student, recalled his study and life experience in CCNU and thanked the school and tutors for their training, which allowed him to put his professional knowledge and the concept of human destiny into practice.
Zhou Hongyu congratulated the teachers and students who received the " Zhou Hongyu CCNU Outstanding Talent Award". He recalled the education style of his mentor, Professor Zhang Kaiyuan and his own study career, and inspired the award-winning teachers to dedicate themselves to educating people and continue to advance towards excellence.
