The Voice of CCNU To do a good job for the 2023 graduates, make their career planning clear, improve their job-seeking skills and correct their views on career selection and employment, the employment mobilization meeting for the 2023 graduates of the Institute of China Rural Studies was successfully held in the lecture hall on the first floor of Yifu International Conference Center in the afternoon of September 28th. The meeting was hosted by Wu Qinghua, counselor of CCRS, and attended by Qin Shitai, deputy director of the Employment Department of the Student Work Department of the Party Committee of the University, Ma Jun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute, Li Jie, secretary of the Youth League Committee of the Institute, counselor Chen Guo, and all graduates of the class of 2023.
The whole institute gathers efforts to educate people through employment. In the first item of the meeting, Li Jie, secretary of the Youth League Committee of the Institute, made a specific introduction to the overall employment situation of the 2022 graduates. He pointed out that the initial employment rate of 2022 graduates hit a record high of 91.1%, the employment areas were mainly located in Central and East China, and the nature of employment units were mainly higher education units and party and government organs. However, in recent years, our graduates have fallen into the dilemma of "narrow choice, high competition for employment and slow employment process", for this reason, we have issued the "100-day sprint" promotion plan for employment of graduates from the Institute of China Rural Studies and established the four mechanisms of "contacting with counterparts, regular research and judgment, guaranteeing help and incentive" are in place to open up channels, expand jobs, build platforms and promote help, and escort students to embark on a new journey of employment. With an eye on the present, our institute has focused on investigating the employment intention, confusion, and required employment services of the 2023 graduates, and will take multiple measures to promote high-quality employment of graduates in the next step.
Aim high and link up with multiple parties. After that, Deputy Director Qin Shitai introduced the current overall employment situation of college students, the employment situation, and the employment policy of the university. He mentioned that our institute is one of the few departments in the university whose initial employment rate of 2022 graduates exceeds 90%. At the same time, Mr. Qin combined his work experience and shared two insights with the students: First, first-class disciplines must have first-class employment. Academic construction and student employment affect each other and are closely related, both are very important; second, a first-class school must have first-class alumni. Every student of CCNU and CCRS should make good employment choices. Finally, he made a concluding suggestion with "break the 'three difficulties', improve the 'three rates' and realize the 'three revolutions'". It is expected that effective linkage, promotion, and encouragement between colleges and universities, colleges and employers, and colleges and students will help change the employment concept of 2023 graduates, break the employment difficulties of graduates and improve the employment rate.
With dreams in mind, set sail. Finally, Mr. Ma Jun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of CCRS, made a speech for the employment of 2023 graduates. She took the employment situation of the 2022 graduates of CCRS as an example and told them how they fully explored themselves and adjusted themselves in the face of the complicated employment information, the barrier-ridden resume submission, and the intense written examinations and interviews, to successfully harvest many olive branches. Secretary Ma hoped that the new graduates could clarify their employment goals with a sense of urgency, adjust their employment ideas with an "open and tolerant" mindset, and grasp employment opportunities with an "all-out" attitude. The Institute will continue to insist on precise guidance, continuous employment service, and collaborative efforts on all fronts, and strive to escort students to achieve high-quality employment
This employment mobilization meeting has opened the prelude to job hunting for the 2023 graduates of our institute. CCRS will continue to make efforts together with the Employment Office of the university to help the graduates of the class of 2023 to do a good job in their job search and go to a new life with ease.
