(CCNU online) On October 7, 9 o 'clock in the morning, the second phase of the 2022 CCNU "Part-time Counselors Job Training Camp" special training was held in room 403 of the college students' activity center hall. The party committee, vice minister of student work and the commissioner of education, Li Diao as well as the deputy director of Ideological and Political Work Department, Li Xianling, attended the training meeting and gave some instructions. Nearly 30 part-time instructors from all the schools participated in the training.
First, the part-time counselors who took the training introduced themselves on the stage. Nearly 30 part-time counselors present took to the stage to introduce themselves for one minute in turn. The counselors simulated the formal competition scene and made wonderful self-introductions. Li Diao, deputy minister of the Student Work Department of the Party Committee, director of the Department of Ideological and Political Affairs, commented on the performance of participants and put forward suggestions for improvement: One was to pay attention to the beauty of manners. Improve the overall personal image from hair style, clothing, accessories and other aspects to give the examiner a good "first impression". Second, pay attention to language fluency. Be logical, articulate, speak at a moderate as well as steady pace, and express themselves fluently, taking their time to present themselves to the judges. Third, lay emphasis on the introduction of individual core competitiveness. The time for making self-introduction was short. So highlight the core competitiveness of the individual, especially the ability to deal with student affairs, and improve the integrating degree between personal ability as well as quality and the interviewer assessment point fit were needed. Four was to take notice of showing excellent comprehensive quality. Self-introduction was an in-depth exchange with the judges, so interviewees should fully reflect their ideological consciousness, political height, moral quality, professional ability and comprehensive quality. What was more, they needed to especially reflect the wisdom, experience and skills accumulated in their daily ideological and political education to fully show their professional competence for the post of instructor.
Subsequently, Li Xianling, the deputy director of the Ideological and Political Work Department, gave in-depth guidance on the preparation of making personal resumes and taking interview assessment to trainees. In terms of resume production, she emphasized that part-time counselors should combine their own advantages to produce targeted resumes which suits different positions. In terms of counselor competition, more students' work experiences such as working as student cadres and part-time counselors should be reflected, and facts, data, word of mouth and performance should be used to speak to reflect personal excellent comprehensive quality. In terms of interview, she stressed that the trainees should further strengthen the revision of self introduction text, the self shaping of personal image and the ability to take exams through taking various exercises to make full preparations for job hunting based on the suggestions of Director Li Diao.
Participants said that the careful guidance of the two leaders would be of great help to their future job hunting. Moreover, they would actively participate in the training activities which were related to "Part-time Counselor Job Hunting Camp".
