The Voice of CCNU On the afternoon of September 30th, the head teacher work meeting of the undergraduate graduating grade of School of Chemistry was held in Conference Room 502 of the Yifu Chemistry Building. Xu Fen, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of School of Chemistry, Yuan Hong, deputy Dean, and 12 head teachers of the undergraduate graduating grade attended the meeting. Wu Shuangxin, counselor of the undergraduate graduating grade, presided over the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, Wu Shuangxin made a detailed introduction to basic situations of students of the undergraduate graduating grade. Wu Shuangxin firstly showed the data of academic graduation and explained the data of major distribution and academic early warning to teachers attending the meeting. Then, Wu Shuangxin sorted out a trend of students' career choice, and mentioned that after finding out students' intention, head teachers could provide targeted advice and help for students' employment. Later, Wu Shuangxin showed the data and distribution of students that head teachers should pay more attention to. She mentioned that head teachers were expected to be concerned with students' situations and communicate with counselors in time to help students successfully graduate and find jobs. Finally, Wu Shuangxin stressed the importance and necessity of the work of "five must-talked items ".
Then, Xu Fen, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, made a supplementary explanation of work of the graduating grade, sorted out outstanding problems existing in the previous work of the graduating grade, and emphasized the importance and particularity of work of the graduating grade. Xu Fen mentioned that graduation and employment policies of graduates need to be interpreted to students in a timely and accurate manner, and the " five must-talked items " work of head teachers should be carried out in an orderly manner and the ledger should be done well.
Finally, Xu Fen highlighted reminders and suggestions for focusing on working ways and methods to do with those students that head teachers should pay more attention to. Then, Yuan Hong, vice dean, talked about slightly different emphasis between the fall semester and the spring semester. In the fall semester, students should adjust their intention to take the postgraduate entrance exam according to their learning situations, in order to reduce risks of failure. In the spring semester, head teachers should take initiative to care about the students' graduation projects and follow up progress of their dissertations in time.
At the end of the meeting, participants exchanged views on specific issues. The teachers' questions focused on basic requirements for graduation, specific situations of academic early warning, and dissemination of employment information, etc. And this discussion further formulated the direction of work.
At this point, the head teacher work meeting of the undergraduate graduating grade successfully ended.
