(Corespondent Wang Di) On the afternoon of September 2, the faculty meeting of School of Physical Science and Technology was held in the lecture hall of the No.9 teaching building, for the work arrangement of this semester. The conference was hosted by Zhang Mingsheng, the secretary of the party committee of the school.
Zhang Benwei, dean of the school, announced the disposition of the priority work of the next 4 months during the session. He said, the school will spare no effort to motivate professors to give ingenious courses, improve the research capability for greater achievement, enhance the high-level talent introduction, simultaneously, accelerate the construction of the almuni association. In addition, he encouraged entire faculty to be determined and go all out in the new term, in order to assist the school in obtaining higher accomplishment.
Assistant deans, Wu Shaoping, Yu Yunwei, Huang Guuangming, made detailed arrangement as well as deployment separately, of undergraduates’ education, research work of graduate students and laboratory management. Deputy secretaries of the party committee, Ma Ying and Cao Yang, summarized the work of the students conducted in the summer vacation, particularly that of fresh graduates of 2022. Then, they gave a report of recent significant work, including plans of returning school, admission procedures of the freshmen, key points of the student affairs and so on.
Zhang Mingsheng implemented work of party construction as well as ideological and political education for the coming semester, meanwhile, he conveyed the conference spirit of the school’s back-to-school work assignment meeting for the next term. He pointed out that, school would completely adopt the disposition of the university, steadily carry out the major tasks, continuously take the measure of epidemic control, at the same time, persist the pursuit of high-quality development, for celebrating the triumph of the 20th National People’s Congress as well as welcoming for the 120th anniversary of the found of the CCNU.
