In order to further play the important role of class teachers in the ideological and political education of undergraduate students and the whole process of cultivation of students, enhance the cooperation between class teachers and counselors in the work of nurturing people, and jointly promote the work of nurturing people in CCNU to further go deeper, more practical and more detailed, in the afternoon of October 26, the workshop on the work of class teachers of undergraduate students of the School of Fine Arts 2021 was successfully held in the conference room 507 of the north building of the tenth building. Party Committee Secretary Fu Yizhao, Vice President Zheng Da, all class teachers of 2021 class and counselors Luo Chun and Xu Yuemei attended the meeting. The seminar was hosted by Liu Qian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of CCNU.
First of all, Liu Qian thanked the class teachers for their efforts in student growth in the past year, and introduced the purpose of this seminar, hoping to discuss the difficulties faced by students' growth through the seminar, and discuss good solutions together, so as to further promote the formation of synergy between class teachers and counselors, to be a good "guide" for students' growth together, and to create a good atmosphere for the whole staff to educate people.
At the meeting, counselors Luo Chun and Xu Yuemei introduced the overall situation of students in this grade in turn, focusing on the academic performance of each class in the last academic year and the situation of classes in this semester. Next, the classroom teachers made a speech in turn, taking into account the actual situation of their respective classes. Among them, Mr. Wang Chuxiong talked about 5 points on how to do a good job as a class teacher. He emphasized that class teachers should encourage students to go off the Internet, out of the dormitory, to the playground, to strengthen physical exercise, and to optimize physical and mental quality; the work of graduation requirements, graduate employment guidance, etc. should be carried out in the front. Mr. Lu Yang shared his experience of talking with students and emphasized the importance of professional skills training for design students. Mr. Huang Zhihua suggested a way to bring up the new with the old and play the important role of peers in students' growth process. Mr. Zheng Da shared his suggestions on the problems that students need to pay attention to in the process of growing into talents and how to deal with them, giving sincere suggestions for CCNU to achieve high-quality development of talent cultivation. After the presentation, all the participants exchanged and discussed some important and difficult issues with the core of improving students' comprehensive quality, and expressed their hope to further strengthen the collaboration and work together to build a class with pure and strong academic style.
Finally, Fu Yizhao, secretary of the Party Committee of CCNU, made a concluding speech. He firstly thanked the class teachers for their care, love and concern for the students, and emphasized that the work of class teachers is a job that requires a lot of time, energy and emotion, and it is a job that affects the all-round development of students, which is very important. He said that the seminar was very meaningful as it provided an in-depth discussion and a feasible path to deal with students' "common problems" and "individual problems", and he hoped that class teachers and counselors would further get close to students, understand them, pay attention to their individual differences and explore their potential.
