From April 29 to May 2, 2023, led by Chen Kexu, vice chairman of the MBA federation of the School of Economics and Business Administration of Central China Normal University, a total of 11 MBA students formed the “Guizishan Warrior Team” to complete the 11th Yasha Adventure Introduction (referred to as “Yasha competition”) to compete with more than 4,000 business students from 150 universities in the Asia-Pacific region.

Yasha Adventure Introduction is the largest and most influential competition for business schools in China, and it is known as the “second classroom” of business schools. With the care, support and encouragement of dean Tu Zhengge and vice dean Wang Zhi of the college, the “Guizishan Warrior Team” put what they learned in class into practice, from activities organization and presentation to outdoor training preparation, fully demonstrating the positive and enterprising spirits of students. The students’ enthusiasm for Yasha competition reflects the spirits of CCNU, “loyalty and erudition, simplicity and perseverance” and the motto of “be ambitious and dedicated, make society prosper and people live in peace".

Lasting 3 days, 72 hours, up to 70 kilometers of weight-bearing desert hiking, in the sweat of wanton, on the edge of physical limit, in the moment of breaking through willpower, they never gave up. The “Guizishan Warrior Team” deeply felt the process of perseverance and challenged themselves in a difficult environment, and finally they chose to explain everything with actions. No matter how heavy the wind and sand are, it could not stop their progress, they walked together and insisted on finishing the race, this desert wind and sand also made the friendship which shares more firm joys and sorrows together.
The slogan of “competing in Yasha once, being friends forever” has witnessed the footprints of countless business school students struggled, and its concept of “environmental protection, cooperation, persistence and responsibility” has also been recognized and supported by more and more business schools and all parties in society. In the future, MBA students of the School of Economics and Business Administration of CCNU will continue to uphold their enthusiasm and original intention. And with the support and care of the college and teachers, they will stride forward to the “ShaOu Award”, inheriting culture and carrying forward the spirit of CCNU.
